There’s no reviving and there’s no debate: anybody who’s ever had to deal with a loved one with fronto-temporal dementia has know what Trump is suffering from for years.

I find 360 photos more memorable that the thousands of phone pics i have from special occasions.
110% with you there. Photospheres capture good memories like no photo ever can. They’re so immersive they take you rigth back. At least they’re still impressive to this easily-impressed gen-Xer 🙂
I guess it could use a slightly lower FOV angle to look less distorted on a phone. It seems alright on desktop. It’s a compromise: the lower the FOV, the slower it spins around with the mouse. But of course, if you activate sensor control on the mobile version of Pannellum, this becomes moot.
Thanks!

Nothing says “working towards the need of the working stiffs” like grandiose pointless architecture.
Fun fact: all dictators like architectural megaprojects. This is what Hitler had in mind for Berlin for instance. Or this monstrosity built by Ceaucescu. The Arc de Epstein and the Epstein ballroom should tell you something about Trump.

It’s offset by how immature she sounds when she opens her mouth to sell her demented grandpa boss’ lies.

I’ve always thought that faces like hers that radiate contempt and hatred seem to be forever frozen in their unpleasant pose.
People who smile and have normal human expressions tend to age faster, simply because their faces move all the time.
Also, of course, plastic surgery…
Plenty of places are disputed because they have natural resources or sit in strategically interesting locations.
But plenty of other place have nothing special to offer and are just disputed for stupid nationalist reasons.
Kashmir is one of the latter. As always, the ones who suffer from the nationalist nonsense are the everyday Kashmiris trying to live a normal life.

I think you read too much into this. I too think it’s not very smart to shun new forms of news reporting, but I doubt this community does this to support billionaires and fascists.

I would have removed this substack post for the deceptive summary alone.
I’m curious: why do you find the summary deceptive? I thought it was quite factual - which is why I elected to post it here.
Did you read the article? It’s not just Saudi media and MBS staying quiet. MBS did tell Trump “it’s over” for all intents and purposes.

she was wished well and told she did a good job
She was wished well in a mafia don’s kiss kind of way.
It’s just the particular style of the Trump mafia family.

This community only accepts “traditional” forms of reporting - i.e. newspapers. It doesn’t seem to understand the new realities of news reporting, news sources and news formats.
It’s fine, it’s the community’s choice. But I regularly get caught posting stuff that is perfectly normal and legit in this day and age, like videos and blog posts from reputable sources. Sorry about that…
I reposted it on politics@beehaw.org.

Rich people hoard money without any regards for morals or ethics, and they certainly don’t stop to ponder the purpose of their wealth. That’s just their drug.
You’re not addicted. That’s why you’re not rich.
It’s also why a lot of people who win the lottery end up broke within a year: they don’t have the mental illness of greed necessary to stay rich.

I think they will. Trump cut her loose: she’s a MAGA pariah now. This is the one chance the bar review committee has to pretend they still have integrity without pissing off the orange utan and his cult followers.

At least now you can be pretty much certain Trump isn’t a Russian asset. He’s just out to destroy the United States for no reason.

Sorry, that’s the best feel-good I could find for today. One makes do with what one finds when the sumbitches are above the law that applies to the rest of us.

Karma is a bitch…
But boy! it feels good for the rest of us.

Bondi probably has the goods on Trump. Firing her isn’t too smart…

Oh come on, cut him some slack: he was trying so hard to emulate his orange hero!
Yes, and something else also: when somebody is a “colorful” character like Trump, it becomes even harder to distinguish what is somebody’s normal behavior from the effects of the dementia.
My Dad was somewhat eccentric and neither my Mom, my siblings or I realized there was something seriously wrong with him for a long time: we just assumed he was being weird like he always was, until he become erratic enough, and most importantly violent - which he had never been - that we brought him to the doctor, who showed us the MRI: he was in an advanced state of FT dementia, but we just didn’t see it. And then with hindsight, it all became clear all of the sudden.
