Velocipastor! It looks and seems like it’ll be a parody but it was super engaging and fun. Went into it thinking it would be watched between gaming rounds and eventually turned off, but I ended up quitting the game to full-screen that shit!

This movie took me completely by surprise by how good it was. I feel like you could tell everyone involved had experience playing TTRPGs, from the director, to the writer(s), all the way down to the catering crew!

They’re not anti-higher education for all, just for liberals and those who are not part of the wealthy class. That’s why they jacked the price up around the 1980s. Too many poors were going to school, competing with rich kids for high paying jobs, and cementing class-consciousness pushing for social change. They can’t have that!

Raising the cost of tuition meant fewer families were able to attend college without financial aid, which has also been set up to be a lasting financial burden for us plebs. Couple that with better employment opportunities being largely reliant on the level of education obtained, and you have a system designed by the rich, for the rich, to ensure they’re the only educated group, able to ascend to the upper echelons of power.

Also, they want smart people with college degrees (and sociopathic tendencies) to work for them and come up with new ways to manipulate/kill people! It’s why so many Nazis were incorporated into US projects after WWII, rather than being hanged for the crimes they helped facilitate against humanity.

Edit: I forgot to include the racism part of the price hike, specifically aimed to prevent class mobility for people of color. Racism is just the worst!

MAGA was right about DEI hires all along. Just sucks they only apply t negative connotations to DEI for women and people of color. Whites can’t possibly be DEI!

I’d care a hell of a lot less about the amount if it felt like it was being used for anything other than padding rich assholes pockets. I want my taxes to feed and help people, repair and maintain roads, and subsidies public transit. I guess I’m saying I want my money to help my community and the vulnerable, not sit in some rich fuckers bank account while a homeless settlement I drive by daily grows, tent by tent.

My parents’, stop crying or I will give you something to cry about, keeps me from being able to handle my 5yo when he’s getting emotional or crying about something I see as trivial or is a resolved conflict.

I feel embarrassed when someone, even my wife, sees me cry. I usually break down alone and as quietly as possible to avoid being caught. I’m better at letting that shit go, now, and allow myself to break down in front of my wife, but no one else.

That seems to matter little to this regime. So, I ask again, what happens when they clash? We saw them stage a situation and try to arrest sitting members of congress and a mayor. In a sane world, you are correct. We don’t live in that world so subordination doesn’t matter!

So what happens if the thugs in the DoJ clash with this judicial security? Are they prepared to turn their weapons on the DoJ officers? If not, then this is only to protect judges from stochastic terrorism at the hands of tRump supporters. Dark passages up ahead, I fear.

The issue is a lot of the gun nuts fearing tyranny are fine with this cause it’s their team. Republicans have always been hypocrits, and now we can point to chances where they could have fulfilled their dream, but instead have become the bootlicking cowards we all knew them to be.

Too bad the republican propaganda machine will blame Biden or brown people or something else, that this is going to remove freeloaders and make the gutted programs save them money. Even if they personally lose their healthcare, somehow it’ll be the democrats that made it that bad. Somehow…

I’ll bet you dollars against donuts that the architects of Project 2025 are writing some of those XOs and having them signed with the autopen and Trump knows little or nothing about them.

Some of them? tRump has no idea what he’s signing, he’s just the distraction for The Heritage Foundation to enact their manifesto. Even if you removed tRump from the White House, it would just be someone else, with a less showmanship and a more human signature signing the EOs.

After Musk, I hope people turn their sights against the real masters pulling the strings, The Heritage Foundation, and remove that whole group from existence (not from harm, but the whole organization shut down and the ranking members jailed).

Omg, I love you. I’ve been screaming this since CGPGrey’s videos about voting and alternatives to what we have. Getting that is gonna require all existing party members to be cool with a complete loss of power and an increase in the amount of work the have to do to keep their power or get elected.

It’ll take the states. However, there are already states trying to ban alternative voting methods.

That shit died, or suffered a major blow under Reagan. It’s only been downhill since. Our property taxes suck ass in IL. My house and property looks worse or doesn’t change year after year, yet my taxes never seem to somehow increase YOU. Gonna keep saying it, but for being wealthy, I didn’t have high hopes for Pritzker, but he’s been great!
