There is no argument for Republicanism, there is only racist authoritarianism and the complete destruction of egalitarian secular Democratic institutions.
Lying is all they have, and for half of the American electorate, it’s enough.
It won’t be enough in the long run when they start dying and their children have to work in the mines again, but for a brief shining moment before that (a million dead from a mismanaged and purposefully sandbagged viral pandemic response aside) they will bathe in the belief their white christian righteous superiority.
