Amazingly, Cooper (Reagan clone) is actually pretty sane. I’m from NC, and he’s probably one of the best governors we have had. Unfortunately, he has served two terms and can’t serve another (Josh Stein is the logical next choice, but the Republicans have been running Mark Robinson hard, who is crazy with a capital K, so we’ll have to see), and while I doubt he’ll be picked as vp, I would absolutely be happy if he was.

For example, when he basically planned a press conference to dispute/explain the verbal mistakes he made at the debate with Trump, and proceeded to have the massive one of calling Zylinski “Mr. Putin” about an hour before, causing them to cancel it. Again, he’s in his 80s, but it is still pretty depressing to those that aren’t supporting him completely due to his opposition to Trump.
Yeah, but last time Biden didn’t have as many verbal gaffs and was generally viewed in a positive manner due to his connection with Obama. His presidency has been relatively stable (given how much interference from the Republicans during it), but in the last year his popularity has gone down due to his actions over Gaza (he could have loudly and publicly stated he did not agree with the Republicans in congress and boosted his approval ratings easily) and his increasingly worrying speech patterns. I don’t actually think he has dementia (more that he’s in his 80s), but calling one of our allies the name of their enemy could definitely cause a political issue. I do suspect that a lot of the previous voters will probably still vote Biden, but they would probably vote for any halfway decent politician that opposed Trump. The problem is that some less convinced voters have been berated when asking questions about his fitness for the next 4 years, which does raise the bs alarm. And yes, I know Republicans have definitely been stoking that fire, but if the default response is to deflect then you are going to make those potential voters anxious.

The idea is to not be able to trade individual stocks while in office, just have index funds, which should theoretically limit the ability to use insider knowledge for market manipulation. It’s a pretty big no Brainer for public trust, but this is congress we are talking about, so…
That there are a lot of bot accounts that can quickly inflame an issue with a pretty obvious grain of truth to it. And that there doesn’t seem to be much of a response other than “Biden is better than Trump” or “I support Biden due to his past competence”. Which feels like a very nothing burger of an answer, and instead gives plenty more questions rather than reassurance for Biden’s campaign. Trump is an dangerous idiot and I’d be the first to say not vote for Trump, a frankly sane and common sentiment. Honestly, the more time goes on, the more it feels like the arguments that are posited for voting for Biden without answering basic questions actually feel like they are being posed by bot accounts.
Got a set with a box cutter and a foldable knife a few years back for $7, haven’t really used the knife much but the box cutter has been used a ton. It’s really nice to just be able to replace the blade when it starts getting dull, and it has allowed me to use it for a lot of precision cutting for a lot of different projects, plus it’s really easy to fold or unfold so I don’t have to worry too much about cutting myself.
I wouldn’t worry about it. I was one of the gifted kids, got my Bachelors then Masters in Computer Science with good grades. But also I got massively depressed and it took me a while to get a job after graduation. One of the more valuable lessons I learned from that experience was that I was often not seeing the forest thru the trees. After all, going to college is just a means of hopefully ensuring that you have an easier time covering the cost of living long term. So, overall, if you’re happy and don’t have to constantly worry about your bills there was no real loss of potential.

Smaller stuff has to be more complex to get to the lower mass, which is usually what causes the biggest issues. The hdds in those ipods had some extra stuff to make them more reliable, but even then, move them too quickly and they show it.

Honestly, just make them large enough to attach a lot of attention and eventually audit with actual punishments for gross misuse. If they could actually attach those punishments, some other stuff he’s passed (like the electrify America charging stations) would be far more effective. Not gonna lie, he kinda sadly still has my vote as he isn’t Trump. That being said, if Trump were to croak tomorrow, I think it would be a pretty safe bet that Biden would lose a lot of his polling power and some other crazy might actually have a chance to win. Actually publicly doling out punishment for those massively mismanaging funds and generally making life harder for the public would probably make him pretty popular though (at least for a bit).
Other than stopping the support for Israel (for reference, besides the obvious humanitarian issues, the US government is throwing a massive amount of our tax money in weapons they are effectively giving to a foreign country that doesn’t really seem to like the US a ton), stop the stupid tariffs on solar panels and other renewables. Yes, the CCP is obviously flooding the market with cheap renewables, and they probably aren’t the most ethically made, but we’ve had decades to throw money at renewables and frankly, it seems we haven’t really bothered much. If you really want to fuel the domestic renewable market so much, give out insanely huge subsidies to them (like the CCP has been doing for years) and invest in the next gen tech related to them. I get we are currently in a trade war, but we also need to meet climate goals and without China it doesn’t really look like we will even get close. Not trying to be a China shill or anything, just facing the issue that it mostly seems like this is just going to be a net negative for the climate.
OK, read this, so it’s up to $31k more, probably more like $7.5k more on avg for having a lower energy cost house. It supposedly will take 90 years to recoup the costs from energy efficiency (have my doubts on that one, as energy prices will almost assuredly go up), and a lot of the grants Biden is giving out require union labor forces.
