We have a party entirely dedicated to the ownership class with literally 0 internal conflict, and we have a party almost entirely dedicated to the ownership class with some internal conflict (the squad.)

What we don’t have is a party that gives one solitary fuck about the labor class and actively fights those that get too close to real power. The squad is a useful token to point to and say “see we aren’t all corpo fascists! We allowed them to exist!” (Because there’s only like 5 of them so they have no power whatsoever)

All to support an absolute moron. the ownership class.

I’m honestly dumbfounded that there aren’t riots, but then again they knew what they were doing with the timing of this and the Chevron ruling.

I mean I know the young are generally ignorant by the simple fact of their age and lack of experience, but in what universe do they think that’s an option? Maybe like 2 years ago we could have pushed for something, but now? It’s Trump or Biden. Being undecided is just saying you don’t know which of those two you would vote for, any other vote is just a vote for the person you like least to win.

Hell just a hybrid saves me a ton. Charging stations are uncommon here and I don’t own any property to install a charger so I just got a hybrid and I only spend like $20 a month on gas. Of course my commute is only like 20 mins each way and I dont go out much because everything is so fucking expensive, but still it just sips gas lol

It’s supposed to play on some sense of “fairness” and “I played by the rules, why do you get to just make new rules for yourself to succeed while I’m stuck in a worse life because I stuck to the original rules?” It works with a lot of people.
