One thing to note, pihole also blocks ads in you’re using wifi from your phone. If I’m playing a game or whatever that has “watch this ad for…” half the time I have to switch off wifi or else it’ll claim the ad failed and won’t give the item.

One thing I’ve found is it’s good at blocking ads via mobile gaming. The downside is if those ads return rewards in-game.

There was a demo for a music video maybe 10 years ago, Day Day - Backseat, the video seems to have since been scrubbed from the internet and the best I could find was a thumbnail.
