My coworker put in a bet on Trump right after he entered the election the first time. Can’t remember the odds but it was staggering and we joked about it constantly until it became true.

The US population, unlike countries like Japan and China, grew last year. All because of immigration. Like it or not we need these people or the decrease in service we’ve experienced from covid will accelerate.

The only redeeming feature was his ability to go sober and the years he did his community service as a lawyer for an environmental firm. Dude abused women, went to Epstein Island, and his interference with vaccines has caused deaths. He will say or do anything to get attention as long as he doesn’t have to do the work. Republicans can openly be racist, ignorant about the law, trash on veterans/elderly/women, and still are in contention. I think it’s the so-called Christians that are lacking morals.

Well convince a majority of Americans that’s what they want first. Cause Detroit really wants a target. It’s frontpage news anytime it comes up and the last contract to build one was just cancelled a couple weeks ago.

There was nothing racist about my comment. They have been trying for decades to build a target in downtown Detroit. The locals have been promised one constantly and contracts keep getting signed and broken for building one. Everyone here is hoping to get major anchor stores like this to open in the area as a sign of its continued improvement. Let me state this clearly: Everyone there wants a general goods store like a target, plus the additional groceries it would bring to the area.

If she built a Target in downtown Detroit she’d probably get all the votes.
