Hello

Sounds exactly like the Trump administration I know, going back to at least the pandemic. Why would you be seeking sympathy from this administration? They don’t know the meaning of the word.

He helped set us on one of the worst possible futures. It’s hard to feel bad for him. That no one else would be caught in a wrongful lawsuit is probably the only reason I care.

It’s refreshing when someone comes along with the facts.

Sounds like Moneyball but for politics. I believe that was a movie, based on a true story, about constructing a baseball team with metrics that would win despite not being one of the teams with the most money.

It’s more than just his supporters that made this happen. In fact, even those people seem like supporters to me because they let this happen. Because they don’t pay attention. Because they don’t care. Look at those people, too.

Found this person’s comment interesting:
“The next few episodes of Last Week Tonight are going to be interesting…,” another added, referring to comedian John Oliver’s late-night show, which airs on HBO.
I know Oliver has made comments himself about this. I wonder how he’s going to handle it.

I remember TV had something like this, maybe a couple decades ago. I feel like it wasn’t adhered to at that time. I wonder if they’ll just ignore it again this time.

It’s just the equal application of the law in this case.
“Drug users” includes marijuana. It’s argued that the vast number of users can’t all be seen as dangerous. It’s clearly not what it was meant to do.

That overlooks the disarmament of some, on the basis that they are assumed to be dangerous or harmful without ever having done anything to be labeled as such and thus lose rights, while allowing those rights to others.

I thought he ran on lowering prices. Who would even say this?!

That’s what I’m thinking. Where is he getting this number?

This is a great point. Thanks for stating it. I am often too easily roped into these kinds of arguments. Logical ones are so much better.

Thanks, Chuck 😉

A right? Don’t know. But he certainly has the capacity and drive to be the worst president ever. Fulfilling that bigly. Showed me just how many shit Americans there are, in my friend group, in my family, and just generally surrounding me at all times.

John Fetterman has once again handed President Trump and Republicans a victory, as the embattled Democratic senator allowed Trump’s pick for a Pennsylvania federal judge to move along in the nomination process—waiving his right to block the nomination through the blue slip process.
Now former federal prosecutor Antonio Pozos will likely be the judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania until he dies. This is the first time in Trump’s second term that a Senate Democrat has turned in a “blue slip” and given up their right to oppose one of Trump’s judicial picks.

The four Democrats who voted with most Republicans to approve the measure were Reps. Vicente Gonzalez (Texas), Adam Gray (Calif.), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (Wash.), and Don Davis (NC).

They’re all the same rank!

They brought the term “alternate facts” to the table.

To fresh, new criticism! If it’s not accurate, it’s toilet paper.
They have to keep their fiction up, that the 2020 election was stolen, that Fauci somehow did worse than the president, and on and on.
