Welcome to investor-stage capitalism where nothing is worth anything other than to the brief returns for the investor. If the investor has not made marginal profit it is time to kill, kill, kill, regardless of the product; be that a studio, a game, a food, a medicine, a house. Better burn it to the ground than risk any marginal loss. (Ignore of course the lack of product, content, value, etc that would actually entice someone to buy—the only reason a company should exist is to give money to investors—no product should come before that!)
Never been one for podcasts but man—the past few years have been super inundated with Drawfee and the related Secret Sleepover Society content on YouTube. It’s just so comforting as background noise while working.
In the US and this sounds like a text book case of harassment and is illegal and absolutely should lead to termination of the offending party. I imagine the UK has stronger labor laws to protect workers, so uh, go to your HR department and whatever the local government labor board equivalent is. You should absolutely not put up with this shitty behavior from anyone.
You’re welcome to use language however you want, regardless of what the algorithm decides.
I can’t stand David Lynch and find nearly every thing he’s made insufferable. I will not be vibing with your choice.
I give ‘em like 2 weeks tops. Fuckin self-absorbed “Great” lakes.
Alternatively you could just go buy a new cast iron griddle probably for not much more than all the trouble and testing equipment.
Can you explain to me, a layman, why it should be Linux based and why that is a good thing?
You won’t find me using this dichotomy—I just use the blanket term “Assholes.”
A wonderful game, still need to go back and do the dlc at some point.
Currently Horizon: Forbidden West. So glad the PC port only took 2 years this time around rather than 5 for the first one (or however long it was)
Well if an animal sees different electromagnetic radiation frequencies than we do then it’s possible that our complexion would appear different (and maybe in some manner of pattern) to said animal versus a human. It’s possible our melanin responds in patterns that are noticeable under other em frequencies outside of what our eyes perceive as light. I imagine this could be tested with equipment sensitive to em bands outside human visual perception.
Sounds delicious (in dungeon) and wholly appropriate—really what I mean’t was savory things. I don’t think it’d be good in, say, lemonade (then again, maybe it would be?).
Been on a huge S. Paprika kick lately. Not sure why I never thought to use it before. It’s basically works wonders on anything (where appropriate)
One of my favorite lazy-ass, basic meals is a pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes and a bowl of Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce to dip a fork of both in.
We’ve been selectively breeding all manner of life forms for millennia. At this point it’s a natural behavior of our species.
Got a text the other day to demand my support for Biden by completing a poll via some suspicious shortened link. Might’ve been legit, more likely a phishing attempt. The wording of it just made me think of the “Trade offer” meme.
Didn’t respond. If this is how pollsters operate they’re gonna be out of business within a decade (should be already) or just continue to get skewed results from braindead fools who click on suspicious links and also vote for blatantly unfit, deranged and dangerous candidates.
