Maybe the Mormons are right (except they’re not), and all of the people considered decent under the Mormon rules (most conservative Christians would be included, others, significantly less likely) get to live on Earth for a thousand years of peace. That was always the thing that interested me when I still believed. Shame that every single bit of bullshit we’ve all been forced to go through is for nothing. Over time, I’ve grown to understand why some people believe in a reward.

People forget that morality, legality, and constitutionality are all different. Andrew Jackson ignored court orders regarding treaties with the Cherokee, nothing bad happened, because the people supported him. Lincoln blockaded the South without congressional approval, that was a good thing, also unconstitutional. He suspended habeas corpus, which was also unconstitutional. ICE is likely not breaking the constitution in many instances. However, that doesn’t make their actions the slightest bit less abjorrent and evil. The constitution is a centuries old piece of paper. If anything, the Bill of Rights and some ot the other amendments (namely the 14th) are significantly more valuable.

Unfortunately, Trump’s numbers still aren’t the lowest they’ve taken. Lowest was Truman in February(?) 1952.

I live in the US. Just happen to be right next to what’s certainly going to be a major target if and when a major war breaks out. Not going to blame whatever countries are involved, I completely understand. It is what it is.

Possibly Ireland or New Zealand. Haven’t looked into it too much to be honest. Anywhere where people speak English and I probably won’t be shot or bothering any of the people that already live there. Australia is probably half decent in some places. I would definitely avoid the UK though, they’re almost as bad as the US in a lot of ways.
