It’s not just because they want to raise money, they want to raise dollars specifically.
That said, China has been pushing companies towards domestic capital markets, which run on Yuan.

Yes. There are still way more horses than there would be in the wild due to domestication.
See comparisons between Zebras and Horses
Outside main city? For NY it’s any area outside New York City. Like Albany or Rochester.
It’s not like they can force you to wear the headset.
Unless of course it’s used for torture by IDF or smthn.
Global privacy based Gpay alternative does exist, see monero. Monero is less than ideal because of its volatility though. Also, really difficult to convert to actual money.
The thing with Gpay (American one) is that they don’t handle the actual transfer for domestic transactions, Visa and Mastercard does.
Security through obscurity doesn’t really work well. Look at how Windows is closed source yet most malware is made for it due to its.market share.
Also, Chrome is kinda open source (not completely but look at Chromium).
With open source, if there is a security issue, it can be identified and fixed quickly. If the dev doesn’t fix it, you or someone else could fork the project and patch it.

Reddit banned about 2,000 subreddits on Monday, most notably r/The_Donald and r/ChapoTrapHouse, in a move the platform said was intended to crack down on online communities that “promote hate.”
In a Reddit post, CEO Steve Huffman said the decision comes after discussions about how the platform can “[close] the gap between our values and our policies to explicitly address hate.”
sure, brigading, sure.
Also Lemmy don’t require too much of moderation ! as any user can use the block feature in their options removed externally hosted image so you should not censor content in behave of others !
way too vague. there is no such thing as absolute free speech. nowhere, not on the internet or in real life.
some of reddit’s actions are very much justified like banning r/jailbait r/watchpeopledie r/TheDonald. Others were clearly banned because it criticized capitalist status quo such as r/chapotraphouse
You can give it a website layout made in ms paint and it’ll try to turn it into html and css
Because liberal ‘reforms’ resulted in actually increased standard of living in China for everyone while in India only top 10% benefited. There is a reason why China is near first world in Global Hunger Index while India is near the bottom.
I didn’t say neither India nor China is ‘fair’ or ‘exploitative’ in the first comment. The conditions are completely different. What are you talking about?
“We see an extraordinary execution (in China). It’s called 9-9-6 culture - 9 am to 9 pm, six days a week. And you see that progress. We cannot have the ambition of being a 10-20 trillion dollar economy and still expect that life should be chill,”
yeah and everyone’s tired of it there and moving away from it. and what does he think Indian workers in the private sector do? they don’t get Saturdays off, they are always forced to work overtime, its why everyone in India wants a public sector job in the first place.
India’s terrible economic situation isn’t because people aren’t working hard enough but because there is no work in the first place (especially for college-educated people). China managed to build productive forces by forcing capitalists to do what the state wants whereas Indian state is controlled by capitalists directly.
the low productivity is a failure of capitalism, not workers.
because it is at best a crank conspiracy theory.
[and yes you should do it]
and yes bombing hospitals does make sense, Israel has done it in the past. In fact, the same hospital was ‘warning’ bombed just 2 days ago

October 15th:
Yesterday, at 7:00 PM, Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza, which is our partner in the Diagnostic Cancer Treatment Center, was hit by two Israeli rockets. Fortunately, the extent of the damage was limited.
Today, the hospital has received orders from Israeli authorities to evacuate the facility, including patients, staff, and 3,000 Gazan people who have sought shelter within the hospital’s premises.
We call the international community and all humanitarian organizations to take action to prevent the evacuation orders for Al Ahli Arab Hospital and the other 22 hospital, as this action poses a significant risk to the lives of numerous patients.
here is a 2014 article regarding Israel bombing hospitals
The third floor of the Al-Aqsa hospital in Deir al-Balah was struck by Israeli shelling, killing four people and wounding dozens, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health spokesperson.
“Today’s attack on the Al-Aqsa hospital is the latest in a series of attacks on and near medical facilities in Gaza, which have been struggling to cope with thousands of injured people since the Israeli offensive began on 8 July,” said Philip Luther, Director of the Middle East and North Africa Programme at Amnesty International.
If not for Iron Dome, Israeli casualties would be way higher.
Ok, why not give Palestinian their own iron dome?
Any civilian casualties are to be condemned. Yet, you must remember that Hamas likes to base itself under hospitals, schools, mosques. Not only that, but Gaza is also very densly populated. They’re some 2.5 million people over 365km squared. It’s very difficult to carry out any strikes without damaging hundreds of people. Yet, in the 2021 conflict, only 260 Gazans died as a result of strikes, despite hundreds if not thousands of shellings. Israel claims that at least 200 of those were militians. If that is not surgical, I don’t know what is.
Kill yourself
Religious and secular political forces quarrel in Israel daily. It can’t just “become” secular. A big portion of Israelis don’t want it to.
And? Why is that a reason for Palestinians to be treated like second class ‘citizens’.
Water, food, fuel and other necessities are usually provided by both Israel and international help.
Why does Gaza have a huge electricity deficit? Why is their water polluted? Why does Israel deliberately limit food to keep Gazans on a ‘diet’.
Read a little about the history of the conflict, as well as about peace talks and different offers that Israel made.
You are a zionist pig and you should fucking kill yourself.
I think they should try and be as surgical as possible
How about this, remove the blockade on Gaza, give everyone there citizenship and become a secular state.
like they did in previous rounds of fighting
When has Israel not leveled civilian buildings? Have you not seen charts comparing Israeli casualties to Palestinian ones?
I can understand that Israel is angry, and rightfully so
I think Palestinians should be the ones who should be angry for the way Israel has treated them since inception.
I’m not sure which ones work now but I remember r/piracy working with zero karma.
10minutemail.com worked for me the last time.
you will need to post a bit on subs which don’t block new accounts with low karma. its an antispam filter.
i mainly pirate games because it usually works way better. like i own gta v and with pirated copy the game starts as soon as you click on the exe. with steam version, it takes like 1-2 minutes to connect to servers and shit. also like some aaa games are really expensive for my income even after regional pricing.
i have never bought a subscription for a streaming service or paid for any movie/tv show/music. why do it when you can pirate it and dont have to look for which streaming service its on and pay for it.
as for ‘you claim to hate capitalism, yet you want to take advantage of its treats’ is such a dog shit argument. Do I see capitalists in the C Suite making video games or movies? No its the fucking actors, vfx graphics, programmers etc. did anti-monarchists during feudal times not eat food because it was produced under a feudal system? the argument can be flipped just as easily, if you love capitalism so much why do purchase games made by workers?
