For books, Alibris https://www.alibris.com/ has a very nice bargain section.
For other things, AliExpress is way cheaper, just do not buy expensive or tech stuff there.

Self-diagnosing depression can be unhelpful. What you’re experiencing may be something simpler and more easily treatable.

There is a very nice Chinese drama called She and her perfect husband https://mydramalist.com/64781-the-80-20-rule-of-love

I was born in Soviet Union and grown up in Italy. Teachers lied and misintepreted my behaviour and my words a lot.

First it was trolls, then it was trolls using AI. I understand why many users are abandoning social networks.

You can write in the prompt to the AI to write in hip and casual tone, but you will get something that will give you “How Do You Do, Fellow Kids?” meme vibes.

Enlarge your breasts with one weird trick. Doctors hate it!

The Dalai Lama is a very controversial figure.
In 2023, the Dalai Lama faced controversy after an incident in which he kissed a young boy on the lips and then asked him to “suck his tongue” during a public event. This sparked widespread criticism and accusations of inappropriate behavior. However, the Dalai Lama and his representatives later clarified that the incident was meant to be playful and that there was no inappropriate intention behind it. The situation led to discussions about cultural differences and the responsibilities of public figures.

Advancing and becoming a team leader. Now I don’t want it. I want to be an ordinary employee who has very limited responsibilities.

This is precisely why I choose to travel to countries where, for either cultural or climatic reasons, it is customary to have more skin covered.

You can isolate the networks that are part of the Internet by switching off the submarine communication cables. They are considered a military asset by the countries and defended as such.

Inflation in the West is correlated to de-dollarization happening worldwide

It really depends on the context. If people are finally getting offended by White Supremacists when they weren’t before, that’s a positive development.
That said, with the world feeling like it’s on the brink of World War 3, I guess it’s normal to be on edge.
To feel better, the usual advice stands: drink less coffee and more tea, go for more long walks (music optional), and spend less time online.
European capitalism, particularly from the 16th century onward, was not a simple market economy. It was mercantile capitalism, a system where the state and private capital became fused in a project of national economic expansion. The goal was to accumulate wealth by any means necessary for the benefit of the metropolitan power. This system was inherently expansionist, violent, and required external colonies to serve as sources of raw materials and captive markets.
China’s commercial developments, while advanced, largely served an internal, agrarian-based empire. The state’s Confucian ideology prioritized stability and internal harmony over aggressive external expansion and accumulation. There was no comparable fusion of state and commercial power for the explicit purpose of global domination.
IMHO, the answer is in Imperialism, the Highest Stage of Capitalism by Lenin
TLDR: Capitalism cannot survive without Colonialism, because it needs new markets to solve the recurring overproduction crises. An overproduction crisis is when the workers earn too little to buy what they produce.

Europeans are not evil nor good. They are influenced by the material conditions they live in and by ideology.

They do that also in Bollywood movies! It was unexpected the first time I hear that!

You are intentionally shutting out the meaning of my comment.

The concept of the “lesser evil” operates as a manipulative technique, much like the neoliberal slogan “there is no alternative” (TINA). In both cases, the spectrum of alternatives is artificially narrowed to create the illusion of fewer choices than actually exist. For example, while the United States has roughly fifteen multi-state political parties, the lesser evil strategy deliberately implies there are only two.
I agree in part, but the YouTube recommendation system is really broken. Even if you told YouTube several times that you don’t want to see content from that clickbait channel, YouTube will keep on showing it to you in the main page.
