I can’t wait for my Aptera…
I can’t wait for my Aptera…
I probably would have never started.
Everyone insisted that it was “easy”. I’ve come to realize this community is heavily developer-based and completely unaware of what they average person would consider easy.
My system breaks all the time and I have to spend hours trying to just get it back up and running again.
I was never able to get the app to work.
If I could have all my money and time back I would have just stuck with “dumb” electronics.
Those devices are very slow at transferring heat, unlike the microwave.
I use both.
Bluetooth can be convenient but also can be the opposite. On long travel days I don’t want to have to worry about battery life, and I always inevitably run into issues with cutting in and out, which I find extremely annoying
Bluetooth headphones have come a long way
What advancements have been made since Apple removed the headphone jack?

The antiwork movement WANTS to work
Then they need to find a new slogan. Because that is literally the complete opposite of the movement that’s been labeled and the person/people who thought this up must have been trolling. You are sending the wrong message and you’re going to be dismissed without a second thought, just as it has been here.
the antiwork movement is just made of lazy assholes who don’t wanna do anything?
It’s not an assumption. It’s literally in the name. It’s literally the entire content of OP’s submission. Where do you think you are?
And yet here we are on “antiwork” talking about how you didn’t consent to work…?
Saying people just don’t want to work is absurd.
I’m glad you understand the problem
If your position is simply that people need to work less, you’re doing a very bad job of relaying that, and thus shooting yourself in both feet.
Strawman? You either want to work or you don’t. Which one is it?
LOL this is not at all about me “blowing steam” and 100% about you conjuring up a wild conspiracy theory because you can’t accept a reality that you don’t like.
Business by definition does what they need to do to reduce cost
Your have this insane idea that the whole country is one big “business”.
Who said anything about Facebook?
Facebook is a business that doesn’t give a single shit about real estate, because they’re not in the business of real estate, and yet they’re bringing their workers back to the office.
Most companies in the world are not tech or even oil and gas either and you can’t deny the impact of these industries.
No but those industries directly impact a wide variety of other industries. You don’t see employers demanding their employees drive around in circles to burn more gas because oil prices dip.
And like another poster said it’s not just real estate either.
What other poster?
Sectors like retail, services, transportation are also impacted by remote work culture
WTF is “remote work culture”? Why does Amazon give a shit about what Target is doing?
not to mention government revenue streams like property taxes.
Why would Facebook give a shit about how much money the government makes from property taxes?
It really just seems like you’re chalking all this up to some giant inter-corporate-government conspiracy, rather than the Occam’s Razor simple explanation of employees are just more productive in the workplace…
My point is the overwhelming majority of businesses in existence are not in the business of real estate so why would they give a shit if it’s impacted?
You wildly overestimate the influence of these companies.
That’s not the only real-estate game in the business… Think owners and landlords of the building who used to make a killing leasing these commercial spaces out
So…real estate companies? You realize there are other businesses with employees right?
My guy, you couldn’t read the first paragraph in the OP link?
