As others have pointed out, these look like quite the distracting and cyberpunk dystopian ad signs, most unexpected for a core health institution.
I’m not holding my breath for a change in the hegemony over the world towards Russia or China to be any better. I’m not pretending that an 80 year U.S. imperialism has been anything tolerable, either. This is unlike the Biden vs Trump situation, too. When the alluded damage reduction has been the primary damage creation source with such an intensity to create whole regions and families of militant and/or terrorist organizations directly and uncontrollably terrorizing common people, one might wonder if a monolithical state apparatus can be tried as an option for the common folk than a democracy for the privileged.

All I’m saying is that the PTSD soldier turned cop in your analogue may be keeping the other bullies in line, but is also leading to the creation of more bullies all the while doing the bullying themselves. That is a likeable conclusion for us non-western people, but eventually these white christian nationalist supremacists will openly wage crusade instead of still pretending not doing it. Even as someone from outside, I can say the U.S.’ best bet is Biden again. His international politics are no different than most U.S. presidents that came to office in the last century, but at least U.S. citizens are getting a nice end of the mostly shit-ended sticks for a change. And that goes for all the current immigrant peoples in the U.S., too, although for many the reason for leaving their homes can be traced back to deep-rooted U.S. foreign policy.
What do they have with Trump? Persecution during immigration while their home countries will be kept bombed to hell or stripped and exploited by the ongoing U.S. policy.
Here’s a similar scene from CoD 4: Modern Warfare. Instead of actual tyrant-following, shemag-wearing, AK-touting terrorists among the ruins behind the city/district road sign getting bombed to hell by your U.S. weapons of destruction, for some to masturbate to this killing firepower, there are kids and all the innocent people being put through genocide among those raging fires.
I’m not saying the games are a bad influence, not at all. But there is a painful discrepancy between how the U.S. weapons are depicted in use vs. how they are actually used.

You were just just chilling in your garden and paying taxes to the machine that was axing all the marginalized groups one by one, until this year when they are finally narrowing the “orthodox” line to leave the white liberal on the marginalized side. Enjoy the last vestige of comfort Biden tries to push for the U.S. citizen while straining your conscious with the suffering elsewhere, as was the accepted American liberal lifestyle for a quarter short of a century now.
As for the Europeans, don’t be lazy or be apathetic and vote while you still have good candidates. Most of you have abysmal vote percentages because so far your governments kept your individualistic lifestyles untouched. Don’t assume you can keep the peaking fascism tide via shifting Overton Window at bay without showing an almost identical solidarity the right wing shows at every continent on earth. The “Russian propaganda, blackmail, bribery, etc.” is only the beginning. Iran had experienced the same meddling by the U.S. decades ago, the whole Middle East and North Africa have been experiencing it since early 2000 at least. Turkey started going down the same path with Menderes and American influence during the cold war in the 60’s, and not even half a century later we have Erdoğan and even worse shariah-law touting coalition parties with him propping up now.

Ah, nice. Sand idiom does not ring a bell, but the “asleep” is quite common probably. In Turkish, the word for numb (uyuşmak) is actually derived from the word for sleeping (uyumak), so just wanted to share that, too.
Which country/language? In Turkish, the idea is similar but the wording a bit different, “karıncalanma” (being ant-y) is commonly used. Same thing is also used for when a body part goes numb due to having it in weird position for some time, like sleeping with your arm under your body or sitting on the toilet too much and having your legs be numb.
There is also “parazit yapma” (making/doing parasites) used for the television thing.

Quit using Reddit after the (initial) blackout over 3rd party apps didn’t cause any change from Spez and he instead doubled down on it. Lived without any media for about a month or two until the 3rd party apps were shut down and they began switching over to Lemmy. Lurked for about 3 months using Sync (yeah I know, but a familiar and good interface while other stuff was changing) while deciding on where to sign up an account. I was eyeing a Kbin account as its web view resonated more with me, but seeing the problems it had, finally settled on Lemmy.world. Never had a better place to comment politically leftist to my heart’s content and be free of moronic come-uppance style replies made for the sake of sounding witty/snarky on such topics.
Still considering Kbin and/or Lemmy.dbzer0 accounts for the sake of contributing to user diversity, tho.

You probably know better, but I can’t help saying this anyway: Don’t go for any substance or addictive activities unless it is clearly healthy living. Substance abuse, sometimes even simple use, when in bad mood can lead to more of that bad mood. Substance use at better times can be more effective in enjoying stuff more and having less time to think about bad thoughts, than trying to suppress bad thoughts via substance abuse during those moments. Using substances as good mood enhancers rather than escapes from bad moods, of course depending on the person, context, and actual variety of the substance, can come to you better and as a very natural, mostly non-addictive form of substance use.
Addictive activities to suppress unresolved emotions can lead to withdrawal effects just like substance abuse, some activities do that soon and some after long durations.
I’m not a gymbro, and actually a fatass on high levels of overweightpart on the scale, but fitness activities do help with getting rid of rent free thoughts, secreting some kind of hormones that can help lift your mood, leading to situations (hopefully nicer) like meeting people, seeing even ordinary sights that can look stunning, feeling of progress on something, etc. that can replace those bad thoughts, at least most of the time. It can work very early if you can enjoy the feeling of slightly but a bit lengthy sore muscles, and/or it can give visible satisfying results in the mid/long term if you can keep up.
Not saying do this last, since the events you said can stick with you rightfully as very indignifying things to do unto others, getting over these thoughts via your own attempts or your social circles’ help may not prove good enough, even with best effort and intentions. Seeking professional help, even as the first next thing, could prove to be best in this case.
Try to see what works for you, and take any example or advice as alternatives or options rather than surefire methods. There are many variables, including context, person, perception, reception, intensity, duration, etc. that are very crucial in resolving psychological situations, and finding the exact answers for your variables is almost surely improbable. As how most therapy are assisting you find solutions for your problems, and not giving you answers to your problems, you’ll understand what works for you better in the end.

Dammit, I wanna argue against this so bad. I feel like Fury Road is among the rare, if not only, reboot or sequel or whatever you’d call it for movies that had a fresh entry after so long that holds pretty decent in light of the originals. It has awesome visuals, pretty good pacing, immersive characters, decent interactions.
Yet now I feel like the main plot is kinda stitch-together, “rise up people!” Marvel kind of garbage, with catchy “witness me” kinda stuff sparkled. Local settlement warlords in style of Farcry 3 and up.
