Yes actually. I just found out this morning that the state also won’t be counting the votes from the medical marijuana expansion issue (even though it did make it on the ballot) because of Supreme Court/ Huckabee nepo baby fuckery. Makes me furious.

I really like this idea. But I’m not sure that a QR code to a 900 page document is going to get a lot of people interested. Especially those who are still disengaged enough to have their vote influenced by a sticker.

Maybe one with a colorful graphic/ one page summary of the project’s most damning proposals followed by the rest of the document would be more effective. Or anything else that can get an undecided voters attention more quickly maybe? Like I said, I really like this idea but I feel like it could use some tuning.

Yeah, she’s in the fucking army dude. She also is assigned a very important detail and has her own career to think about. If she chose to press charges I’m sure every MAGAt in her chain of command would try their best to fuck her over. The military is just as political as any other part of the government which makes this seem like self preservation on her part.

ETA: Dr. Bob has pointed out that she is a civilian employee and not a soldier. I’m sure she has to deal with similar political machinations as the service members she works with but still an important distinction.

I couldn’t tell you honestly. The pregnant lady is my cousin and she said it was a slightly different spelling of our great grandmother’s sister’s name. But everybody on that side of my family does/did drugs so who really knows.

There was a contest for project submissions to be chosen as the sublemmy photo that took place in October. Hence the coffin. I reckon it was supposed to be a semi regular contest but ya know… Life.

You could make a post calling for a new contest, I think that would be cool. I was meaning to participate in the next one anyway.

I’d recommend learning SketchUp or TinkerCad or something similar to make your own plans because part of the beauty of making your own furniture is it can be exactly the way you want it to be. However, that kind of software can be intimidating if you’ve never had exposure to it.

So, the next best thing I would recommend would be to find a video on YouTube of someone building a bed, these makers sometimes have links to the plans they used to build it. There are a lot of bed builds on YouTube and they might even give you some ideas you’d like to incorporate into your own design.

I’ve seen a similar method on a Bourbon Moth video except I think he used his domino to make slots instead of cutting a groove, but I guess if I payed that much for a funky router I’d use it all the time too.
