Life is cake when absolutely nothing is your fault.

The narrative, as I understand it, is that the dictatorship they fled is the left, so left bad, right good. Doesn’t matter that the political “left” in the US is center-right.

It’s brain-dead tribalism all the way down.

I grew up constantly surrounded by the latter and knew when I smelled the former that the adults were about to act like idiots. I think I’d rather lose my sense of smell than have to endure either consistently.
