While I can see where you’re coming from, about 90% of the music I listen to is some kind of metal. Most of it is just about cool nerdy stuff but there’s definitely some truly horrible shit in there. I have yet to and don’t intend to do any of it.
I think the bias comes from how loud some of these shitty people are. They build the stereotype. For the most part, people just mind their own business, go to work, raise their kids, and bob their heads to the beeps and boops.

They’re all fine, and I have diagnosed neurodivergent people in my close friend circle. I’m about to hang out with him for 2 weeks. I don’t hate furries either, I just hate obnoxious people.

To be clear, the reason people hate them is because they’re aggressively furry and beyond any measure of obnoxious. No matter what the subject of the thread is, they will make it about socialism/communism/anarchism and being a furry.

I use 3 monitors. One is for the task I’m doing, one is for reference material for the task, and the third is for my sanity. That last one is where youtube/memes/whatever are. I can focus extra hard if I need to, but I prefer not to. When I started out, I used to get home completely burned out, and incapable of doing anything but eating, showering, and vegging out in front of the TV or PC.
I can’t remember what county I signed up with but I just provided a real address in the county and a fake name and that was it. It’s free. There’s a thread on the other site for libby libraries you can sign up with for free. Some work, some don’t.
Libby. I got a library card from like… Kentucky library or something. I don’t live in America. I got a library card for my local library too but it doesn’t have as good of a stock.

Exactly. Alex is a bad person to the core. He whines not that he did bad things but that he no longer enjoys the bad things.
I haven’t seen the movie, but in the book, absolutely fucking not. At one point he abuses two 10 year-olds and from that point there was precisely 0 empathy from me. Bad shit happened to him while incarcerated which is unfortunate, but a lot of other things that happened to him before the incarceration and after he was released were completely deserved.
Edit: To be clear, he did plenty of other bad shit, and I’m not comparing the things he did between themselves, that was just the tipping point for him becoming irredeemable to me. His age doesn’t make a difference to me.
I’m certainly not a virtuous person but I don’t think I’m categorically bad.
