I tried to think of games that I keep coming back to, or in the case of Persona and Celeste, ones that stick in my head even years after beating them.

Edit: don’t know how this slipped my mind but a kingdom Hearts game should definitely be here. It’s my favourite game series, I think I forgot to put it down because I was trying to think of which one I would put down as the best of the series.

Early YouTube and early Facebook were really good. I liked old Facebook, as well as the timeline update. I miss Joe it used to work. I don’t use it or any other equivalent social media because none of them work like that anymore. Lemmy is the only social media I use and that’s more of a discussion board rather than keeping up with IRL friends.

Early YouTube comment was great before it got inundated with ads and sponsorships. I miss the silly humour you don’t really see that much anymore. The last good era of YouTube was the height of youtube haikus, that sadly, like a lot of things, got replaced by tiktok content.

Three, but they are staggered in a way to make the perfect angles for my head. I have a thick one that’s almost vertical with just a little bit sticking out at the bottom for the next pillow (a thin one) to lean onto. Then another thin pillow staggered on that one.

I’m technically only using two pillows of you cooking what my head is over. But the first one allows the second too for that perfect angle for me.

In my job we had a guy that we would joke was the cause of all our issues (he obviously wasn’t and knew this, as we used to say it about things he hadn’t even touched). He eventually left for to wanting a more stable job before getting a mortgage arrive we were on the way to going under (still fighting that to this day). Even though he’s gone we still use him as reference to be like “I fixed what X broke”. Sort of used now as a way to not actually blame anyone in the company for things. Things go wrong and we fix them, no point in actually blaming anyone.

I’ve not had to redo windows since 10. 7 was the last time I had an issue that caused a redo which in turn made me go to Linux for a year or two before I had to go back to windows for Visual Studio for work. Been on windows since from 10-11 and I’ve never needed a redo anymore.

I think cheek kiss in the uk is very much a thing for the older generations. I’ve only ever seen millennials and below do it to the elderly and usually it’s someone they know, not someone new.

I really liked it when it first popped up as what felt like a skype replacement. Now though, it’s awful. To be honest though it’s not at discords fault, mostly. It’s due to how every online community is wanting to use discord for their communities. They treat it like a forum, even though it can’t truly act like one. Discord is good for having servers for different friend groups, but for the giant, in the three digit populated servers, nah. Too much going on in there unless I’m terminally online.

To add on to that, I love total war games but I never do the battles, I’d love one that focused just on the strategy map. But I’m imagining your wanting the strategy map of the likes of crusader kings but with total war style battles right?
