Why not both? Tackle guns with more control and better mental health care and education.

Disarming bad guys shouldn’t be the goal. Much like smoking in the UK. You wont stop all the older generationa from smoking but you can make it illegal for all the younger generations and over a longer peeiod of time theres no kne left that smokes.

If you tackle guns now and provide greater control over ownership whilst simultaneously educating younger people you will effectively prevent this sort of crim in the future.

At least thats my view.

In a similar vein i really like the pink floyd vamp. Its on (i think) 50% of the songs on dark side of the moon. Its Gm7 and C9 back and forth on great gig in the sky but there are a few variations. For example Em and A7 on breathe or its used here and there in “time” with F#m and A.

It ties alot of their songs together and sounds amazing.

Ive been getting these in my feed too.

I remember a time when i bought a printer and it came with refillable ink cartridges which worked out significantly cheaper and better for the environment. And i could buy off brand cartridges that worked great too for cheaper.

The next printer i bought had microchips that identified the cartridges as being genuines so the cheap off brand ones didnt work anymore. And the refillable bit was gone.

That was easily 15 years ago. Why is this only just coming back up now. Its beena scam for over a decade. Maybe longer.

I guess its not practical to define a 14 year old as an adult when most people dont feel like an adult until they are like 30 or something.

People tend to use school and university vs jobs and mortgages for example as a barrier to adulthood.

I think it makes more sense to go with what people believe in general rather than to bog ourselves down with technicalities.

I built myself up from a warehouse to a job administering computer networks. Ive still got a ways to go but i didnt do it by myself. I had help from my family, my colleagues ans friends. And i didnt leave them behind. I encoraged and helped many of my colleagues in my previous role to aim high and some follwed me up the ladder.

If you are only out for number one then you will go far. But i cant be like that. I dont believe anyone, including myself, is any more deserving of a better life than anyone else. Why fight eachother to reach the top when we can all go together?
