I’d love skylines 2 if I could just play it above 30fps on low graphics. I know I’d get a higher performance if I wasn’t playing it in Proton, but still. I have an RX 5700xt, it shouldn’t be this bad

Oh yeah, for sure as an answer to the OP question, but I’m still curious about their decyphering ability
Side question, but would ancient Romans be able to decipher a modern day language from one book? I’d imagine a language with Latin based words might be easy enough but not sure how equipped they were.
I miss /r/AskHistorians
I’m not sure where it is for you but it’s under your profile in the Voyager app (so it does exist).
Are you using the default lemmy website or an app?
Rest in peace Rideau street McDonald’s
Not in Canada. I know some schools have uniforms in Québec but no federal politicians talk about uniforms
Oh for real? I thought they removed it from their API too
You did until recently. The devs removed it though to discourage point farming accounts. Your new app might just be calculating the points manually by tallying all of your posts
You can tell it’s old by the amount in rent 🥲
I started using RSS but mostly to keep up with my city’s subreddit. The city sub here isn’t popular enough to be up to date with the latest news
This is how I use my TV but it’s still not perfect. When my TV turns on, it always try to shove a list of “smart apps” in my face which takes a minute to load even with no internet, and the input switcher is slow and clunky. I guess I would accept it anyway though since the smart features push down the price. I don’t think I’d be able to afford the LG C1 otherwise
To add to that, a used ThinkPad can be really good even under $500. Companies mass buy and replace them so they get sold for really cheap considering their specs
Yeah I joined reddit around 12 years ago and Lemmy feels more like how it was back then. I do miss the more niche subreddits but we’ll get there eventually
Memmy would never save the blocks for me. I’d save a block but restarting the app would remove them all
I really miss that subreddit and also /r/historymemes. We have a history memes on Lemmy but the content is far from the quality on reddit
I remember when Notch himself said he’d open source Minecraft eventually. I guess things took a very different turn though
I used Memmy up until development stopped and now use Voyager. It feels the most like Apollo did so it’s got my vote for best app
