Why do people expect more from the NYT after the last 5 years?

What’s crazy to me is that they think that men don’t care about it either.

And what’s to stop people who want whale head trophies from killing a whale by whatever means, claiming it was washed up, and saying their prize?

Sure, out of reach for most people, but not impossible.

These laws aren’t arbitrary, even if you can’t play the mental chess it takes to arrive at the potential outcome.

Inconceivable.

Same, but it’s the framing of the number that they’re calling into question. As if to force people to say “only 6 million of the 17 million,” or, “if they’re lying about this, what else are they lying about?”

Truly devious and truly maniacal.

A friend of mine made one of White’s iconic guitars. That friend offered to make a copy of that iconic guitar for me. That friend was threatened with a lawsuit from White if that guitar were copied. I’m not sure that case would have held up in court given that the guitar in question is a copy of a copy, but…

But lemmy dog pile is in effect, so nobody will read that.

I literally said I read the article. It’s in my post. Maybe if you read my post instead of the first sentence, you’d realize what I dislike is the use of double-negatives generally.

I wish articles wouldn’t use double negatives like this.

Is “approval” at a 57 year low, or is “disapproval” low? Meaning, if disapproval is low, does that mean more people approve now?

I did read the article, by the way. I just feel like the wording could be better. I’m glad to see approval is so high. I wish access to unions was better.

The thing is, he’s not the only one. He just happens to be the most obnoxious and openly dangerous one.

I basically said this. I know this is difficult because we’re on the internet, but I asked some nuanced questions that require a little more than key slapping. I’m genuinely curious if they matter at all.

For me, it’s our financial system that created this piece of shit and our judicial system that failed to keep him in check. He’s working and acting the way he does because he had a broken, corrupt family and was never taught moral code or an ethical framework. Yet our electoral system put him into power despite him not getting the majority. Our corporate media keeps airing him for the views. Our digital and print media keep covering him for the clicks…

WE are to blame because we the people cannot unfuck this country.
