    I never did say that, but the poll data suggests I am not the only one who has abandoned the Democratic Party. I posted poll data before -in previous comments on some other thread- by two different Arab American pollsters. One from November showing a drop from 59% to 17% for Biden support, and another from May putting Biden at 7% and Trump at 1%.

    I read posts by Arab Americans who were more enthusiastic about Biden in 2020 and how abandoned and depressed they feel now. You could look them up. Here’s one: ‘The man broke my heart’: Biden’s Arab-American boosters begin to leave his side

    As opposed to Biden and the Democratic Party who are slaughtering them in Gaza out of love?

    I am not sure what you mean by this. Biden is already sending them tons of bombs. FYI Israel started the 1967 war and it was never a defensive war.

    I sense a deep hatred towards Arabs combined with bad history and ignorance. This is more of a reason to not associate with you or your party.

    Final Edit: I brought this upon myself. The correct course of action is to keep to myself and not engage. So god willing this will be the last time I reply to any post about Harris or 2024 elections. I trust the poll data and the opinion articles by Arab Americans more involved then I am. You though can enjoy dehumanizing us to your heart’s desire, nothing will fundamentally change.

    Ad hominem. If you aren’t going to watch this and develop a better understanding of what the Democratic Party has enabled so be it.

    But understand that the people you despise and dehumanize the most can still swing the election, perhaps treating them as humans is a good first step. Instead our anger is demonized too.

    In Michigan, for example, Biden won in 2020 by 154,000 votes. Census estimates put the state’s Arab American population around at least 278,000.

    Biden won Arizona by 10,500 votes. The Arab American population in the Grand Canyon State is estimated to be 60,000.

    Biden took Georgia by 11,800 votes. The Arab American population there is at least 57,000.

    You know, I could keep quiet and just not vote for Biden or Harris. I am the idiot who is wasting his time on people who don’t even see us as humans. You do realize this makes it even harder for the Democratic Party in future elections?

    In 2020 I knew Biden was a Zionist, a racist, a warmonger and his issues page was anti-Arab and anti-Palestinian. But I was told Trump will be worse, so I begrudgingly voted for him and got a genocide.

    The same playbook cannot work again for Kamala Harris and I don’t think I am the only one who feels this way.

    You may want to prevent some imagined unicorn scenario that is unrealistic. I want to prevent this actual hell on Earth that Biden is enabling. Watch the doctor’s interview with CBS or just the short segment I just linked to, then tell me again about voting for someone who supports “Israel’s right to defend itself” and doesn’t think there should be conditions on it.

    Collective Punishment is a war crime and against international law. So was the blockade and occupation of Gaza and the West Bank. Palestinians aren’t resisting out of nothing and their resistance is legal per international law.

    If this is the position most liberals hold, I see no reason why Arab and Muslim Americans should vote for a party that demonizes them anyways.

    Now we don’t know if Biden ever said that about Palestinians on October 6th but he did say it about Lebanese in 1982. So I know that he at least believes it and his actions show it.

    Begin said he was shocked at how passionately Biden supported Israel’s invasion when Biden “said he would go even further than Israel, adding that he’d forcefully fend off anyone who sought to invade his country, even if that meant killing women or children.” Begin said, “I disassociated myself from these remarks,” adding: “I said to him: No, sir; attention must be paid. According to our values, it is forbidden to hurt women and children, even in war. Sometimes there are casualties among the civilian population as well. But it is forbidden to aspire to this. This is a yardstick of human civilization, not to hurt civilians.” The comments were striking from Begin, who had been notorious as a leader of the Irgun, a militant group that carried out some of the worst acts of ethnic cleansing accompanying the creation of the state of Israel, including the 1948 Deir Yassin massacre.
