I made it last night, used half molasses half maple syrup. But the recipe I tried used lemon and I didn’t like the resulting flavour. Also the ginger we had wasn’t as fresh as I would have liked. I’ll try it again using a more traditional recipe.

This made its way into my YT recommendations and I watched it because… boredom. But I really want to try tis switchel thing.

I have a genetic condition that severely limits testosterone production. Didn’t find out until I was almost 40, my health hasn’t been terrible. Mental health is a different story.

I’ve spent the majority of my life “castrated” and it hasn’t been all that bad, that being said I still had urges even with pretty much zero testosterone so I question whether it will do anything to prevent abuse.

eWaste. We have a contract to give an outside company all our stuff. We degauss and shred hard drives and everything else does in a big bin that they pickup every month.

I see posts like this all the time, I’ve had it happen once when I was running PopOS years ago and it was an Nvidia issue. Usually it’s older Nvidia cards, I’ve never had an issue with newer cards

Ok… I’m in the same boat, severe sleep apnea because of it. I sleep with 2 pillows, a dense down filled for the base and then a soft pillow on top for comfort. Keeps my head at the right height but also allows me to roll over.

Off work with covid right now. My wife went to a funeral for her friends father, found out the friend had it. We tested her a couple days later, she was negative. However, she has a tendency to become a carrier and since I’m immunocompromised I caught it. Total time was about 4 days.

The last time I had covid it almost killed me, I was in the hospital because I couldn’t breathe, then I got pneumonia. It was bad, so this time within hours of testing positive my doctor had paxlovid in my hands.

It started with a sore throat, but unlike a normal sore throat nothing I took seemed to make it better, a day later I got a headache that lasted multiple days, I was alternating between freezing cold and hot sweats and I had trouble staying upright, so 2 days straight I was in bed. The paxlovid really works though, I’m on day 4 and it’s been reduced to a mild cold, doctor says I should be fine to go back to work Thursday. Last time I got covid I was off for 4 months, my lungs weren’t the same after the pneumonia and I had alot of long covid symptoms.
