It’s not going to matter how Trump did because there’s gonna be clips of Biden all over social media showing him mumbling and stuttering. He looked terrible, the attack ad footage is just there for the taking.

It’s honestly getting infuriating how people around here don’t want to acknowledge what Biden’s been doing the last 3 years. Yours is one of the few positive comments I’ve seen about JB in months.
You’re talking about the Federal level, which has nothing to do with the DNC’s current problem in Ohio. They’ve been running around all year trying to change the order in which the states vote. So far, most all of them have told the DNC to pound sand, including Ohio. This deadline did not spring up out of nowhere, and it’s only a problem because of the DNC’s poor planning.
Seriously what was the plan? Ignore the deadlines and expect a last-minute exception to be made? I’m not singing the praises of the Ohio GOP, and I agree they’re being dicks about this, but who really caused this problem? Ohio didn’t set the DNCC date. States run their elections how they want. A federal officer coming in and saying “No, do it this way because we said so” isn’t how the this system was intended to function.
For the last century, it’s been commonplace
We said this a ton during Obama’s time in office. Look where we are now. Expecting things today to play out like they did in the past just seems extremely naive now.
It should have not gotten to be this bad, it shouldn’t repeat
No one is arguing against this, especially not around here.
The fact that nothing works and the choice won’t matter, means they are better off hiding in public than caring about you Americans dumb little election.
The choice won’t matter to me because I’m an upper-middle-class, Jewish, Millennial, white male. However, not everyone has the luxury of acting like the choice doesn’t matter. It just blows my mind how there are folks who want to support Palestinians but refuse to see a difference between the 2 major candidates.
WATCHING being the key word there. She’s not living through it. This is happening half a world away and she’s willing to make this even worse? Does she think Trump’s new travel ban (which he’s gone on record as saying will be brought back) will have an exception for her family? Does she think Trump will suddenly say “Actually I was joking when I said ‘finish the job’”?
Sure and I imagine most all of that decline is due to the Israel/Gaza war. That he’s gained 8% back since it started, while being heavily criticized for his handling of it, seems like a win.
I’m happy to take several steps back if that’s what it takes to take a step forward
I don’t think this woman truly understands what it would mean to go back several steps. Or she just thinks those steps back won’t affect her in any way. Wish I could be that oblivious to the world around me.
So an 8% increase for Biden? Hard to view that as a negative.
It’s not like he’s gotten away with it multiple times or anything.
Toddlers don’t learn anything if you don’t correct bad behavior on the spot.
Humor me, pretend it’s not feigning ignorance and explain it. What’s Biden doing that rises to the level of genocide?
Sending US troops to build a pier to provide aid is committing genocide?
unapologetically commiting genocide
Which is not what Biden’s doing and you know it. Why even put that out there?
It’s a problem because liberal voters expect a perfect candidate, but conservatives are willing to see the forest through the trees.
Biden’s being held to a standard that no one’s holding Trump to.
Trump won’t have that problem because he won’t care how complicit he is.
If Trump wins, they’ll certify faster than they’ve ever done anything in their entire lives.
If Biden wins, you’ll see a public temper tantrum bigger and with more lawyers than you ever thought possible.
And yet it’s still valued at nearly $50 per share
The local vote, which was eventually certified under pressure from state officials…
and further down:
“The Constitution and Michigan Election Law do not authorize boards of county canvassers to refuse to certify election results based on claims made by third parties of alleged election irregularities, or a general desire to conduct election investigations,” the letter says. Failure to certify would mean that the clerk would have to personally deliver all records including ballots and voting machines to Michigan state canvassers — all at the county’s own expense. The price tag, the letter adds pointedly, will be “expansive.”
Spoiler alert. It’s all fun and games until you actually have to put in work. Shouting random crap you read off Facebook doesn’t work in the real world.
Except no because the fact that he’s President while campaigning still matters. It absolutely affects how he behaves.
It’s not like it’s a singular action he can take. It’s going to take weeks of consistent behavior before people believe any kind of short-term issue like a cold.
Can he do it is one question. Is there enough time is another.
