Fox was not a name I expected to see on there given all they’ve done to supercharge the right-wing, but I suppose even Murdoch isn’t crazy enough to actually think that it is a good idea to put Trump back in office

Here we go again. Right-wong pundits claiming Trump didn’t mean what he said, all the while Trump’s out there saying he meant exactly what he said. We’ve been here before, don’t be fooled.
Because that’s comparing oranges to apples.
In terms of pure image quality, real objects would win every time because they only have to be filtered by our eyes - digital images are filtered through the GPU and screen before ever reaching our eyes.
As such, the real contest is the ability of displays to make digital images look comparable to those real objects - because that’s harder to do vs. ust looking at the real life object, it’s more impressive to us.
“If anyone loses money, please come to me,” Guo said in a video played repeatedly during the trial. “I will be responsible.” That was not true.
If anybody ever guarantees an investment by telling you they’ll promise to pay you back if it doesn’t work out, they’re almost certainly lying - when it comes to money, if it isn’t in a contract, it ain’t happening
The idea of copyright itself isn’t a bad thing IMO - reward creatives by allowing them exclusivity over their works for an amount of time sufficient to recoup costs and make some profit.
Problem is monopolistic mega-corporations screwed it all up in the name of profits by extending copyright decades past its original intention, and by copyrighting not just the works but even the means of accessing any of them.
It’s no secret that the reuse of public domain inspirations was how many of the largest entertainment companies and largest publishers got to where they are, so of course they pulled the ladder to ensure it’d be a whole lot harder to follow them.
Copyright is broken, and you only need follow the money to see who broke it.
I’m less surprised by the GOP’s willingness to sink humanity for the sake of short-term profits than I am that Trump takes 45 minutes to wash that mop he calls his hair
Whelp if science is a religion, at least our pastors aren’t covering up for child-molestation.
But seriously though, even when not being grifters, it’s like as though conservatives just never developed a theory of mind - they can’t process the idea of people who don’t possess some kind of dogmatic faith.
Some people prefer to follow where the evidence leads, rather than what the pastor says.
If it can be justified by hatred or billionaire interests, it’ll absolutely be on there. Because if there’s one thing Republicans hate more than anything, it’s people that are different (or think differently) to them leading happy lives.
Not that I would ever suggest it, but I bet the moment a president even attempted to abuse this official power against these six conservative traitors to democracy, they’d desperately try to walk this decision back - they only care for the potential of abuse when it negatively affects them
Hugging and play fighting, sure, but can’t say I’ve snuggled with the lads (or girl friends either for that matter) - feels more intimate, like something you’d do with a loved one (or a pet).
Drunk me might lean a bit more towards leaning or pushing against the lads, but that’s always playful and jokesy rather than sincere as your post implies
Breaking News: Pathological Liar Lies Again!
He’ll say literally anything to make himself look better, and his base will east it up because it makes them feel good. There’s almost no point in pointing this out because the people who need to hear it most will utterly ignore it, which is a damn shame.
From a pro-privacy standpoint changing your passwords to something you can’t remember is absolutely the right thing to do to prevent yourself from being compelled to give up any passwords…
But in light of him being a government official tampering with his government issued phone to “accidentally” prevent it being used to investigate official wrongdoing, that act becomes highly suspicious, and (in the FBI’s shoes) would only give more incentive to hack into his phone.
