6·1 month agoCan’t comment on the license, but I switched to it from NextCloud a few months ago and I’ve been generally very happy with it for where it is in the development process. It’s not perfect yet, but it’s also still earlyish.
I think it’s also supposed to be worse than when it was during the French Revolution.

71·2 months agoIn the Lemmy word, sure. I was referring to Mastodon where there is no hot or rising. It’s just based off of who you’re following and when you check. Hence likes doing nothing but informing the poster of your appreciation.
Your edit is a bit like that in the Fediverse in general. Since there’s no algorithm, liking a post in Mastodon does nothing beyond letting op know you appreciate them. I like that.
