The need for anti fascism didn’t stop with the arrests of January 6th
The thing about it is aluminum cans leach into their contents, especially if left open. Aluminum isn’t particularly harmful in that amount but it’s something you can taste, particularly with acidic contents. Not sure how much water suffers from this, but if it comes through in things with flavour, I’m sure it would come through in water, which is supposed to be flavourless, even if it’s not usually very acidic.
The truth? on .world? lmfao
The definition was actually for 4 °C, the point at which water is most dense. At 20 °C the density of water is about 0.997 g/mL. However, we don’t use water to define the metric system anymore, so even at 4 °C - or more precisely 3.983035(670) °C - water is not exactly 1 g/mL.
So download the entire Internet, got it
Generative AI is actually really bad at transcription. It imagines dialogues that never happened. There was some institution, a hospital I think? They said every transcription had at least one major error like that.
We would not be about to store data. Any changes to digital (or analogue) data would be reverted. So even if we all collectively try to ignore the fact that time is repeating and live as normally as possible, we can’t have a society that keeps track of things in anything other than human memory. Advanced accounting, modern engineering, and scientific research would be impossible.
Somebody mentioned that the scenario doesn’t make sense because of time zones. Consider this scenario: Things are only reset locally at midnight. If you pass something across a time zone boundary, it doesn’t get reset until midnight in the new time zone. You could theoretically carry forward information or important objects indefinitely if you swap them before midnight in your time zone and then swap them back before midnight in the holding time zone. Things for which this cannot be done for cannot be preserved from being reset.
Your sinuses being cold contributes to reduced immunity to any airborne pathogens. So why do we tend to get specifically colds (and flu) when it’s cold out? It is likely because we are inside, in enclosed spaces, much longer and more frequently. Colds will spread around schools and workplaces just fine without cool weather.
Wear a mask.
omg if you can read it who gives a shit, pound sand. Get better at reading bad grammar and understanding what’s being communicated. good for your brain, like learning another language.
in other words, skill issue
In an argument, never use “you”. No accusations. Keep a calm, relaxed tone of voice. Even if they don’t concede, they will eventually apologize and reconsider their position, but it may take a while after the conversation ended.
“I told you you shouldn’t have bought that.”
“I didn’t think that purchase was necessary.”
“You upset me.”
“I was made to feel upset.”
In elementary school, during the final year (age 12 or 13) I had a teacher whose system was during work periods you could leave whenever you wanted, but there was a board at the door to mark your name with a clothes pin.
Going to high school, it went back to having to ask for permission, or give a heads up in later years.
Wow that website is awful
If instead of loans, education was paid through taxes, would that still be stealing?
I’m inclined to believe your economics teacher would say taxation is theft, and can be ignored. Using taxpayer money to improve society is not “theft”, it’s the social contract.
I guess https isn’t strictly necessary if you’re not handling user input.
There’s still an argument to be made that https prevents malicious code from being injected in transit.
Taxonomy of bread fasteners
Nope, I saw a video about the rarest bread clip and it talked about that site
Well, I guess it depends which tenth of a second of the fall you get. Do you get the beginning jump out of the plane, or somewhere midair?
It’s funny. People tell me they like that Bluesky has “no algorithm.”
I’m not vegan so take it from me: you’re being obtuse.
That would be regular Mercator, actually. Greenland is as big as Africa in regular old Mercator projections.
Edit: although maybe with a slight uniform vertical squish
