You make a good case for your own argument.
How would you be able to tell there are more bees without mathematics?
“Political figure makes non-committal statement, news at 11”
Yeah, but at that point it’s not your time. You’re essentially selling your life to someone else… and they’re not even using it.
You say you can spend your time writing poetry or reading books… but that doesn’t scratch an itch for everyone. Being stuck to a desk or other work station means your options are extremely limited. You can’t go out and work on your kit-car, or practice a golf swing, or practice monologues for a one person play… or many other things that require a little more activity than being stuck in a chair for nine hours allows.
Money can get you a lot of things in life… but as yet it can not give you time back in your life.
Philosophy is just messy biology.
Basically the same thing, honestly.
Well, it helps to not be such a mopey little troll.
I take in oxygen and turn it into philosophical thought.
I feel like if you have airflow problems, you probably don’t have forced air ventilation.
Did they make Jamie less of a tool in the show or something? Cause in the books he basically just goes back to doing what he was doing before, minus one hand and plus lots of moping.
How many exceptions does it have for rich people, like their plane taxes?
I think you’re buying into her attempt to soften the blow.
She starts off the statement by immediately linking protests with Putin, then follows it up by putting up a front as though she’s in some way neutral.
John Stewart did a pretty good show about this sort of thing about a decade ago about Glenn Beck. “She’s only asking questions! How do we know these protestors aren’t all Russian agents, after all?”
She’s directly linking any protestation of the war with Putin. She’s essentially saying if you protest for cessation of hostility in Gaza you’re a tool of Putin.
It’s incredibly disingenuous and will definitely hurt their numbers. And in a race that’s going to be as close as this is, it could easily lead to a red Presidency.
A lot of youtubers and such only make announcements for content and streams via twitter, or their own services that kind of suck worse in terms of access. In order to stay on top of some limited access content, twitter is still “useful” in that regard.
Personally, I’ve never used it for that, I mostly ever checked twitter when a site I visit or game I play is down and they don’t have a good way of conveying details otherwise. But I know of content creators that use it for that, so I’d understand people using it to stay abreast of content that way.
Hey, just because it’s obvious and childish doesn’t mean the media moguls don’t gobble it up like so many hamberders.
“Donald Trump finds another way to trick media into giving him more headlines”
Educational and mindless rarely go hand in hand.
Mine says “Defining journalism as a strictly capitalist endeavor is self-defeating”.
Few people have the money or wherewithal to subscribe to every small town newspaper in the country, much less the world, just so they can read articles you post. And getting bent out of shape at people trying to live their lives as informed as possible without being squeezed dry of every penny they have is ludicrous.
