Gaming laptops are clunky, ugly, not practical (yeah, technically portable, but not very convenient), loud, hot, drink a lot of juice and always need to be connected to a giant power brick. The worst kind of computer

Windows 98, Windows XP, Ubuntu 6.06, some other distros on and off, Arch Linux is the last OS I would ever need for desktop PC btw
Early Decapitated is my absolutely favorite (tech)death ever. I can easily find more technically impressive music, but it feels like good songwriting with is not very common in that genre.
It’s freaking tired of reminding everyone to practice, yet very few people do it regularly
You guys have headphone jack in your phones? I certainly miss headphone jack in a phone
600/100 in-home fiber, for 79zł/mo (~19€) In practice it’s hitting something like 630/120
Good reasons no, it’s about hiding HDMI spec and protecting some shit DRM
Note that you’re not getting 4K 120Hz on AMD on Linux atm. It requires HDMI 2.1 and amdgpu won’t get acceptance from HDMI forum anytime soon. For that you need DP 1.4 -> HDMI 2.1 converter.

No TV and no Netflix here. Does YouTube count?
Well, I don’t tell that to everyone immediately and I look and behave like a regular man so nobody would ever guess without at least knowing me for some time. I wouldn’t ever go to female changing room or bathroom expecting it to be fine. It would be just as akward, or even more so when trying to explain that somehow.
I do, but I think most people don’t think that they can replace the software they’re using on their devices. Or in other words - people buy consumer electronics to use it as is and they generally don’t install OSes themselves.
I didn’t remove my Reddit account yet, but I stopped using it as soon as I tried Lemmy. As I expected, it’s not perfect, it still needs some love on the technical side, but people and content are already here. I’m pretty happy with my feed so far. I can only see it grow and getting better, but I guess we’ll find out how the fight with spam bots will be.
I don’t have kids and never will, I live alone in avarage european flat, yet I still struggle to keep it at least managable. I like having it clean, I just hate cleaning
For some reason I couldn’t join lemmy.world and few other popular instances, be it because of technical issues, load, idk. I joined sh.itjust.works because I wanted to check fediverse before I commit to host my own instance, which I probably will at some point.
What do you mean? If you can see what’s the instance someone posts/comments/sends message from is visible?
Exactly. Gaming laptops are terrible, I hate them
Worth mentioning it makes sense the best if you’re in Europe. Not so much if you’re far away from Germany/Finland and want to have lowest latency possible
Absolutely no kids ever even if I wasn’t gay or had ability to adopt. I don’t remember my childhood positively at all, I think my parents should’ve never decided to have kids, and despite me trying hard to not be like them, I found myself making similar mistakes. I don’t understand people being so obsessed about having kids and saying stuff like “wait until you got ur own”, I’m like bitch it’s not happening ever unless it’s a nightmare I wake up all wet after with relief that it’s not real
