What precedents exist to deny first amendment rights to foreigners?
What precedents exist to deny first amendment rights to foreigners?
Got to be battery at a minimum
Every day the mask slips further
Yeah, no. You said not voting for Biden is voting for a worse situation for Palestine, which is only true in swing states. Which, I suspect, you know. I didn’t change the topic; you brought up non-election years and other ballot issues.
But if you need it spelled out (we both know you don’t:) if you don’t live in a swing state, your vote for president doesn’t matter.
Don’t be deliberately dense. We’re talking about electing the president, and you asked about a comparison between Biden and Trump.
If you don’t live in a swing state, your vote doesn’t matter.
Absolutely. Compare the kind of censorship that happens on Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit, to the kind that doesn’t happen on TikTok.
For example, I got permanently banned from Reddit (reversed after a few days’ appeal, but it took me out of the game) for pointing out others in the thread conflating ISIS with the general Palestinian public. This was, apparently, hate speech. You see people reporting similar things on all these American platforms.
I have my concerns about TikTok but the pearl clutching is very selective.
Why not blow the whistle on that?
If the administration admits this, it will be legally bound by the Lahey act, which constrains military aid to countries committing human rights violations. They know how ridiculous their denials look.
There are reports that low level Nazis involved in the Holocaust drank themselves stupid wracked with guilt. Meanwhile the IDF thinks they’re a bunch of comedians.
I doubt he’ll face repercussions. I think this is an “only Nixon could go to China” situation.
Somehow I read that last guy’s name as Mickle Bickle
It does a disservice to the health ministry to invariably pin it as “Hamas-run” like the media usually does. It’s a professional, bureaucratic apparatus. Not really any more Hamas-run than the US Bureau of Land Management is Democrat-run. Which is to say, technically accurate but usually stated with a purposeful insinuation.
All this is to say that you’re right, they’re concerned with accuracy and credibility. But credit where credit is due, it’s because of the health ministry itself, not Hamas.
Thanks for the heads up, will be there
Sure! This is a very illuminating article about the zeitgeist in the early 00s, including an interview with McInnes with the quote where he notoriously said “I love being white.”

Just a reminder that Vice was founded by Gavin McInnes, who also founded the Proud Boys and explicitly mentioned wanting to use Vice as a hipster-to-chud pipeline.
You are being ridiculous and I have a hard time believing that you are making this argument earnestly.
Your argument: there were sometimes fires before there was home electricity, therefore how can we blame electricity for causing fires?
Can you be more explicit about what you mean
They ostensibly weren’t until… Well, let’s just say “recently”
