What would be really funny is if enough of these scam coins popped up to dilute any possible branding around trump’s scam coin.

Ok so based on him being a republican that means he did exactly what they’re accusing him of and more.
Get his ass.
Yep. The hallmark of an authentic trump speech is if he’s talking about anything other than himself, he must abruptly change the subject within three sentences.
Reminds me of the fear mongering a conservative family member was spouting when my state legalized weed. She was going on and on about how car accidents were going to “skyrocket” because everyone would be driving high. We’ve been legalized for about four years now, the first time I heard about any high driving incident was a couple of weeks ago when two people died. Now, obviously the number of high drivers is probably more than that, and any kind of intoxicated driving is irresponsible, but that’s the first time I heard a case make the news, meanwhile NHTSA says an average of 37 people die due to drunk driving per day.
Damn… you’re right. Ok, let me try eating McDonald’s and slugging Diet Coke every day for the next forty years and I’ll try it again.
“What are you a blind sheep? This is CLEARLY a RIGGED FALSE FLAG conviction that the CROOKED Democrats did to make everyone think that the justice system is fair but we’re TOO SMART for that and us REAL AMERICANS can see what they’re trying to do
Anyway donate money to my campaign”
and then trump shits himself and takes a nap or something, idk
lol… LMAO
From the article:
The probation interview is required by the court as part of the former president’s pre-sentencing report.
@treefrog@lemm.ee also had a good quote from the article providing more info as well.
The name “probation interview” is a poor one. Sentencing hasn’t happened yet and this interview is standard operating procedure to collect relevant information about the convicted party so that the judge can make an informed decision during sentencing.
I obviously support freedom for Gershkovich, and I think Trump is an asshole, putting it lightly. However I’d like to ask the editor/publisher of this article what in the hell they were thinking layering white text over a black&white halftone photo? Fuck’s sake, accessibility much?
I don’t know the specific legal terms to express this, but let’s not forget the civil fraud trial brought by Letitia James as well.
Easy to ignore if you just don’t consider right wing media to be news 🤷🏻♂️
There would have been a vocal minority on the right wing pissing and moaning about it on fox, but I don’t think the expectation would be that this hypothetical governor would deliberately obstruct.
Yep. That’s what we get in a post-Trump world. If we were back in the 2010s, any governor helping the sitting POTUS/a major party presumptive nominee fix what amounts to a scheduling issue would be non-news.
Here’s a search containing a massive collection of public documents from US Presidents: https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/advanced-search?field-keywords=Sorry&field-keywords2=&field-keywords3=&from[date]=&to[date]=&person2=200301&items_per_page=25
I searched “Sorry” under Trump and not a single one of the first 25 results appears to be a sincere apology. I see tons of “Sorry you feel that way” type comments, which is unsurprising.
Fair points all around, except I can’t say the “acknowledging it” part has matched my experience. As I’ve seen it, they seem to be more content to shove their heads in the sand and pretend FPTP isn’t real and that the system isn’t set up to keep anyone without a [D] or [R] nomination from being electorally viable. Like, I tend to be very laissez-faire with political discussions if people aren’t using hate speech or blatantly acting in bad faith, but that crowd always has me teetering on the edge of reporting their comments for spreading misinformation.
Haley literally sharpied the words “finish them” on materiel being sent to Israel. Anyone swearing off Biden over his Israel policy is sure as shit not gonna support Haley. Or who knows, maybe they would, I think a third of them are cosplaying, another third accelerationists, and the remaining third severely misguided idealists.
I agree, and the footage was from security cameras in very much so public places. That block of text was a quote.
I’m being cautiously optimistic here, but I have to admit prison time is probably a long shot. Justice Merchan didn’t want to jail him on his ten instances of contempt, and I can understand wanting to avoid politicizing an already unprecedented trial and handing the defense reason for appeal. Given convicted felon Donald Trump’s behavior however, my personal prediction is something like house arrest and possibly a supervised release schedule. Total bullshit, but I do think Merchan has been playing the long game so that whatever sentence he hands down is airtight and holds up under appeal.
“… I’m apologizing for you, Kyle Clark, for getting video and releasing that and people seeing it in a very private moment.”
lmfao… these dipshits always try the uno reverse “no u” response and it literally never works. Reminds me of when MTG told a BBC reporter “you’re a conspiracy theorist”, cursed her out, and then stormed off. Boebert is just the pathetic screeching version of this instead of the roid rage version.
I agree; his movement doesn’t have the ability to sustain itself without him. At the rate he’s clearly publicly deteriorating, we just need him to lose 2024 and I think we’ll be safe from the red hat cultists for a good while.
