I was shocked when my friend from India told me that for 400 Mbps up and down, he pays only $14/month. Limit: 3.3 TB per month.

Try Retro Music Player. It’s a beautiful app + it’s open source.
AoT’s world is a hard pass for me. That also means I wouldn’t want to go back in time and live during the world wars.
Smart Watches.
I don’t want to take care of charging for yet another device. Plus, analog watches are beautiful!
Already trying to limit my screen time, no reason to check notifications the instant they pop.
Don’t want to be conscious of my heart rate and sleep schedule all the time. Also have some privacy concerns about real time data associated with me making its way into big tech’s servers.
30 of those hours were spent on Malenia lol.
That would be Elden Ring. Spent 200+ hours on that game (might sound like rookie numbers but that was my first open world game, was just a casual gamer before that).
I know it’s cliche but Friends.
Shawshank Redemption
Five Little Pigs by Agatha Christie
Can be installed on Linux, Windows and MacOS. There’s an open source client on Android as well. If you don’t want the hassle of installation, there’s a website: wormhole.app. Claims E2EE and open source algorithm but the client itself is not open source.
Magic Wormhole is a popular tool:
The anime and manga communities are totally silent on Lemmy. Would be great if we can have some weeb juice flowing here as well.
It’s dependent on the main OpenBoard repo, whenever there’s a new release there, this dev rebases it and provides a new release on his repo. OpenBoard hasn’t been seeing much activity unfortunately, the last commit was 6 months ago. So nothing here as well. I’m eagerly waiting for FlorisBoard to implement autocorrect, I’ll probably switch as soon as it’s out. Floris is more customizable and there’s even an active MR to support Material You theming which will make it look right at home on Android 12+.
There’s a gesture tying (swipe) fork of open board as well which is simply brilliant: https://github.com/erkserkserks/openboard. The problem with FlorisBoard for now is the lack of autocorrect.
Great list! One suggestion: Try Helium’s OpenBoard fork for keyboard. It has tons of features like full Material You theming, glide typing, multilingual language support as well as autocorrect and suggestion support. I’ve been waiting for autocorrect to be added in FlorisBoard for more than an year now.
