Excelent write-up, thank you very much. I’m going to invest my time to learning Incus!

How is the development of LXD?
I am a huge fan of LXC, but I hate random daemons running (so no Docker for me). I have been looking at the Linux Container website, and they mentioned Canonical taking LXD development under its wings, and something about no one else participating apart from Canonical devs.
So I’m kind of scared about the future of LXC and Incus. Do you have any more information about that?
I have VMs on my metal, one specific for containers.
Though I use LXC. Docker started with LXC, then grew bigger, and I don’t like how big it is.
If I can set up one simple NAT and run everything inside a container, I don’t need Docker.
Docker’s main advantage is the hub.

And their doctor wife agrees with them
New automatics have lower fuel usage than manuals.
Manuals suck so hard, they gave me one when my car broke down, and my brother in christ there is almost no benefit to it.
I can choose my own gears on my dual-clutch automatic too, and it’s better in every way to the manual.
Yes yes yes please let’s normalize this
I was just as suprised, as I was expecting it to work flawlessly on Windows Word, regardless of the version.
In any case, I will use sqlite before opening Excel. But usually Postgres.
My sister-in-law sent her bachelor thesis, edited in i-dont-know-which version, but in 365 was utterly misaligned. It was barely ok in 2007. It took some trial and error to see it in the same way she was.
MS Office breaks interoperability betweem different versions, so it can go off the cliff.
I don’t use GMaps, but for driving Waze with traffic warnings just can’t be beaten. Hiking with OSM is great.
Sigh… It’s like the currency still has issues or something
Yes, there is/was a setting for that, should be on by default.
