Yes for Lemmy and Mastodon. YouTube has too much good content to skip, I feel like sites that can only rely on advertising to be profitable such as video hosting and search are going to be the hardest things to make fair.

I love helix, I just wish the development was a bit faster. The main developers are all quite busy and I would love nothing more for them to be able to use some of the open collective money to pay themselves to work on it full time for a bit. I think in a year or two it will be amazing.

I agree, it’s a trade off. That’s why reducing car usage is the most important thing. Making it less convenient to use a car, and more pleasant to walk and cycle are some of the ways you can do that.

Funny how the cars in the UK are geared differently than the ones in the rest of Europe, who seem to have no problem driving at ~20mph
20mph is significantly safer than 30mph, that’s all there is to it

If it’s disconnecting every week or so set the Google cloud oauth app you set up to production. If it’s left in testing mode it will de-authenticate every so often
