Unfortunately, dental is typically separate from health care in the US. (It’s stupid).

Do you have any persistent pain or discomfort when doing things? Get that checked out.
Another +1 for colonoscopy.
Also if there’s a family history of anything nasty, see if there’s a test for it my maybe? (E.g. heart attacks, get blood work done for cholesterol).
Get a full physical including blood work.
See, this is 4th dimensional chess. Trump knows that Bidens deal would be bad for Palestine and only Trump can get a better one. So akshually this is a good thing. /s
“I can remember this as a young man, when we were arguing about whether or not we should be required to wear seat belts, or if we should wear seat belts,” Robinson continues. “And I can always remember there’d be one person to say, ‘Well, what if I get stuck on a railroad tracks and my seat belt won’t come off?’ Number one, if you are stuck on the train tracks, that is Darwin. That’s not any of my concern. That is Darwin. You saw those train tracks. If you couldn’t get past them, I cannot help you.”
He concludes: “That is not a good argument, see, because in this country, we’re not talking about a bunch of people who go down to the abortion place because they’ve been raped or because they’ve been a victim of incest. We’re talking about a culture that we have created in this society that tells you when you want to feel good, go in there and go lay down and do your thing. If you get in a little trouble, it’s alright to murder somebody to get out of it. It is not — it is not okay.”
First off, this is some sort of logical fallacy here - straw man maybe?
Secondly, isn’t wearing a seatbelt now something that conservatives are railing against again?
Absolutely! My FIL always talks about how much we must hate the student loan forgiveness stuff seeing as we’ve paid off loans for the better part of 20 years - and I just don’t get it.
Yeah, pinching pennies and saving like crazy for a house was not fun, but why would I make someone else go through that if they didn’t have to?
Make things better for those who follow us.
I’m in the same boat but for the home purchase. I close next week and had to pinch every penny for the better part of 3 years in order to make my cash to close. The proposed 25k would mean I only have to come up with 3k.
Man, Trump has made his point - he convinced me! I’m not going to be voting for Biden in this election.
I would consider using your Synology for what it’s good at - storage.
My homelab has a Synology DS1618 and servers are Lenovo M90q systems. They have enough compute to get the job done, and use the Synology NFS mount for storage.
If this doesn’t become official merch, it’ll be the first misstep of the campaign.
Yeah, for the integrated CI/CD, give GitLab a shot - it saves on spinning up a Jenkins or ConcourseCI server.
CI/CD can be useful for triggering automation after merge requests are approved, building infrastructure from code, etc.
I’ll come out with an anti-recommendation: Don’t do GitLab.
They used to be quite good, but lately (as in the past two years or so) they’ve been putting things behind a licensing paywall.
Now if your company wants to pay for GitLab, then maybe consider it? But I’d probably look at some of the other options people have mentioned in this thread.
I mean, that fox host came real close with “colored” when he referred to one of the historic black fraternities/sororities.
Give it time.
The undecided can be convinced during the campaign.
What campaign? The election is in 3.5 months. Every day that Biden doesn’t step down is one less day for Harris to start ramping up her campaign efforts.
Also, please someone do a poll of the undecided who have strong feelings towards…
Although most may fall firmly in the Trump camp, I’m betting there are some undecided who think that women absolutely should not be president.
Not to mention waffling Republicans may be more incentivized to vote if the Democrat isn’t an old white dude.
As someone who used Latinx in a Lemmy post and then was down voted to oblivion, just go Latino or Latina. But good on you for asking people how they’d like to be called.
We’ll my reading comprehension is quite shitty in the morning. Carry on with the down votes.
I don’t know if it’s even possible anymore (heck it’s hard for me at 40), but try to put something in retirement funds. If your work as a 401k, try and contribute. If you leave the job, your money can then go to an IRA. How do you do that? Beats me - I have five or six requirement accounts, each topping out at around between $2-5k.
Also, brush your teeth and if you grind them in your sleep - get a dentist to fit you for a mouth guard.
Edit: wow, down votes for teeth health.
Edit edit: reading comprehension isn’t my strong suite.
The effects of Chevron being overturned are going to be catastrophic. I’m theory, if congress wasn’t a complete deadlocked mess due to the Republicans - sure let’s limit the executive departments to only what the law says they can decided/do.
But that’s not reality - we need to defer to the literal experts in the departments rather than octogenarians who knows nothing but politics.
Lol as if I can afford cable.
