It’s not hard to imagine it with no regulations (“safety regulations are written in blood”), but never have we had “pure capitalism”

The part that may be getting downvoted is your second sentiment, which though I would love, I don’t see a path for it right now.

Easily? Man it’s hard to constantly be batted around for literally 8 years now… all of the shit Trump did while in office, and now all the shit he’s getting away with, not to mention his legacy of a court he left behind. At what point is there hope left to look for? Every time it looks like there could be some justice, SCOTUS or another court just rips it away and lets him keep at it.

Democrats aren’t pussies. Democrats are another arm of the ruling class (aka the 0.1%). There’s a reason they act inept on these things. It makes for good theater which people eat up, but it’s all for the rich. That’s the biggest reason they’ve been remiss to move to the left. The only ones fighting for us are ones that are considered “progressive”, which are greatly in the minority. Once you realize this, a lot more of the democratic leadership actions (or lack thereof), makes sense.
