Money is printed through loans in the modern economy, which means you need someone willing to hold trillions of ious. That’s not something that’s going to happen. It’s also not a long term solution since the government spends more than it makes every year, so borrowing would need to happen again immediately, which no one is going to do for similar rates after the money printing. This puts the government in the position of getting fucked even harder or starting the hyperinflation cycle as they print money again.
There hasn’t been a single country that’s successfully printed their way out of this problem. The best case is probably Japan like and the US has 20-30 years of stagnation or gradual decline. The worst case is probably Weimar Germany.

I’d say it’s more passing intentionally vague laws so if one doesn’t get struck down it only takes the executive branch to make 90% of guns illegal.
These laws are written by groups that want to ban guns outright. They don’t have interest in actually learning anything about them, they just want to make it sound as scary as possible. That way it seems like a common sense baby step towards a full ban.

To be fair there wasn’t really any evidence. The guard claimed it was a contraband search for a hat the inmate was wearing, but the guard followed the guy back to his cell from a separate building and never actually found the contraband. The guard claimed the inmate destroyed everything after the search. There weren’t any witnesses, and any camera footage that could have proved anything was not retained by the prison.

I’ve been selected three times for jury duty. Two were county and one was federal. As far as pay went, county payed awful, it was less than minimum wage. Federal paid a bit better, and I got mileage to the courthouse, I also had to front the parking cost and be reimbursed later.
The first time I was on a criminal trial for rape of a mentally handicapped woman, I was kicked off that jury during selection. The second time I had to go in one day, but all the cases for the day ended up settling, so they sent us back home. The third time was a civil case for a prisoner who had his stuff destroyed by one of the guards, I was part of the jury and we couldn’t reach a verdict because some people couldn’t believe a guard would just do bad things.
Michigan was the only state where Palestine was a major factor in people not voting Democrat. Trump still won all the other swing states. There were more people that were surprised Biden wasn’t on the ballot than there were people not voting for Harris because of genocide nationally. That’s 100% the fault of Democrats not doing a primary and falling back to the candidate no one actually wanted.
Obama won in one of the best years for a Democrat candidate in probably 40 years. Hillary probably could have won then as well.
I don’t think 24 was highly winnable for Democrats. It was a coin toss year that they fumbled by pretending Biden was remotely ok to be a candidate.
That’s pretty likely in Florida, they just lost a seat that was R+19 the election before. If they drop margins into the +5-7 range it could be a 2010 level swing in the Democrats favor this time.
