I’m on the beta (testflight) version and they recently had an update where you can now select more photos to add right in the app instead of having to go to the IOS settings menu.

• We made it easier to select additional pictures when Limited Access photo permissions are enabled in iOS. The Manage button has been repositioned so that it’s always visible, and updating your chosen selection is so fast that it’s never a photo finish.

I’d happily pay all those fees to have that much passport privilege.
