I mostly use Firefox, so I develop on Firefox and check other browsers for issues. That way, I can make sure the app and websites I’m working on still work on Firefox.

Ahh, Elite: Dangerous. My pandemic times game. Played that shit almost religiously until Odyssey came out and tanked performance and burned me out of the game. Did manage to go into Sag A* before I stopped playing.
I think it’s better to use the last ten years
to indicate the period. People interpreting it as the 2010-2020 period is a reasonable assumption.
Weird, my experience in Lemmy is much more positive compared to Reddit. Usually I can have better discussion here compared to my time at reddit.
There’s no dwarves in the Wheel of Time.
They even ignored Brandon Sanderson who offered free advice on how to write the story FFS. Even the show runner had the gall to say he’s a fanboy of the series.
I’d say it’s a bad adaptation of the book. But as a sci-fi series, it’s quite good. I rate it at least 7 out of 10. Although I haven’t watched the second season because I’m waiting for it to be finished so I can binge it if I wanted to.
THIS. Better in a closet than in a jar.
I partly blame the manufacturers for this. With the turbo boost, CPUs and GPUs basically came pre-overclocked out of the box. You’ll just put a beefy cooler so that the turbo boost can be maintained indefinitely.
I still remember when I fried my dad’s CPU because I read a guide in a magazine on how to overclock a CPU.
Is that so? I have a coworker who’s into 3D printing and he basically created a whole keynote explaining the process and it got me planning to draft a proposal for my SO so I can get a printer.
Building Gunpla can be fun. I recommend getting a cheap HG and some clipper and it can take easily 4 hours to build one.
I tried to get into game development once, but the amount of workarounds that you have to do when scripting makes me go mad. I’m used to a more structured approach of programming when I got into game development there’s so much that can be basically called hacks my mind just imploded.
