you and your sane logic
you and your sane logic
I’ve always wanted a game that I could pilot from the planet to space and we’re here
I prefer launch no man sky to what it is now. Sometimes you don’t need a hundred features and multiplayer in a game. Sometimes you just want to calmly explore the universe and feel alone for a bit. Not have a million things to do and pop ups . I have enough of that in my life and other games
Ive got a jbl clip 3 waterproof speaker that sounds pretty freaking great. I also use it in my car because my money for the project car ran out before I got to the sound system. Everything else is done though
This, 100%. I love to learn and get better at my skills. I don’t want to waste my time hounding other people or dealing with social aspects. I want to do my job.
Yes, I was in management in multiple companies, mostly the service industry. I burned out after a year of Covid. I never want to be in management again. I just want to do a job or if my coding side hustle continues taking off, I’ll do that.
I pirate shows/movies, and books by big name rich authors, or dead authors.
I’m not going to lie to myself to justify it. I know what it is. I’ve known what it is since my dial up days.
No, if the building was empty, they should get rid of it. But there’s the whole sunk cost thing if they built it themselves or are in a multi year lease
Some smaller companies are doing this. It makes them more agile financially and actually helps their growth to not have a building to pay for. I don’t understand the larger companies.
They’re wasting money on big buildings and rent.
Also, they want control of your activity while your on the clock. It bothers them if you’re more productive, get the same amount of work done but can relax more at home. Which is the way it should be. If I can do the same work in 4 hours than I can in 8, I should get paid the same, and be able to relax, instead of being made to stay at work for 8hrs and be given even more things to do to just stay busy.
I love pizza, especially chicago style deep dish.
But I feel Detroit style has really been kicking it lately and I’ve been loving it.
But I don’t discriminate, I love all my pizzas.
My pancreas doesn’t though.
I’m in the middle of a divorce.
uhh… We’re completely different people. Physical intimacy is really important to her, and I’m newly discovered asexual. I mean, I was always uncomfortable with sex, but I never realized how. I thought I had some kind of sex anxiety or something, but that’s not it. So I can’t provide what she needs and she can’t provide what I need.
Also, I’m kind of feminine and submissive in most aspects in life, and she prefers a more confident, in charge kind of guy.
I’m subscribed to Linux Tech Tips and Givemeabreakman. I’ve been following both for over a decade.
Other than that, I use Youtube to listen to really long (10+ hrs) videos of walking across skyrim and other elder scrolls games to relax.
Why do people block communities instead of using the subscribed feed? It feels like too much work. Did people really browse /r/all or the front page of reddit that much? That sounds like a nightmare. No wonder people complained about the mass of low effort posts. You’re subjecting yourself to them.
Yes, they stop my panic attacks and help me sleep at night. But I’m super picky on brand. I use only lab verified, US companies that have been in the business since before it was legalized nationwide. A lot of growers and such are being bought up by corporations and even Chinese companies and quality is going in the pisser. And I’ve even gotten a nightmare experience that had me trapped under the influence of something that definitely wasn’t cannabis based at all.
I miss the wild west feel and community. And that it wasn’t always online. I also hate that everything is in a web app, etc. I miss exploring random websites. I feel like the internet is just a series of walled gardens these days.
You’ll be hard pressed to find a giant corporation that isn’t run by a conservative megalomaniac. It’s how they got there after all.
Shards of Earth by Adrian Tchaikovsky and for non fiction, The Friendly Orange Glow, a history of the Plato system. It’s an old online community from like the 80s.
the office and malcom in the middle. because my son loves malcom
I mean it’s the same with racist assholes end up having mixed grandchildren. Flips them completely From what I’ve seen
