It isn’t looking like he can… and if he stays in and doesn’t, his pride causing a Trump win will be his legacy. Democrats had 4 years to pick a likeable candidate, but instead pulled out the 2020 playbook of trying to get people to vote against the other candidate rather than for the candidate that is running.

Biden has had a week to go to the press room and do live interviews with heated questions to show that he is still fit. He spent a week preparing for the debate, and the immediately ran off and hid from the public after the debate (unless you consider going to the Waffle House, which Karine Jean-Pierre claims shows it was just a bad night).

Biden had his chance to immediately show he was fine, but he couldn’t do it. He needs to withdraw now. Not tomorrow, not next week… Today.

Or politicians will say whatever is popular to maintain wealth and power. Do you not think many right wing spokespeople can be bought and have their minds changed in exchange for money? Does that mean they have changed though? They are still narcissistic.

First, Democrats like to think the other side is stupid. Trump is not stupid. Trump is malicious. Democrats are stupid when they underestimate their enemies.

Trump is a product of religious nationalism whose leaders have joined together and confirmed what many Democrats have known for decades, that a majority of churches in America are nothing more than a cult.

Trump represents that group who wants authority to brainwash and traumatize a large percentage of American people into their cult. They want to integrate religion and law so that you don’t have a choice anymore about what you believe and neither will your kids.

The leaders of the Trump cult don’t actually believe in the Bible. Trump is just a tool to maintain their wealth and power. You can’t maintain a cult when you’re followers are able to think rationally.

Biden is being selfish. He knows the polls are showing he’s going to lose. He knows people never voted for him, but instead they voted no to Trump (who represents religious nationalism). Biden should have never ran a second term. He was never popular. The only thing that was popular was Trump not winning.

If the polls are showing the cult has suckered more people in and he’s going to lose, maybe we should find a candidate that tbose considering joining the cult can relate to… That gives them hope, inspiration, and that appears strong and admirable on the outside.

That is why she’d be so successful. She’d give them strokes. She’d get constant media coverage. They would give her so much publicity the news would always be about her. She’s good looking and talks well. She’d look badass in the White House.

The delegates don’t have to pick Biden. If it is clear doing so will result in a loss they likely wouldn’t. If Biden steps aside they won’t have have to either. The issue is the delegates were picked cause they are loyal to corporate Democrats so they are less likely to pick a candidate that would crush Trump like Bernie.

Yeah okay. Well 2016 happened where DNC did something similar which is why you ever got Trump. Now they’ve been up to the same tactics and you’ll get him again if Biden doesn’t step down. Go ahead and give yourself a big pat on the back and say… “I’m doing it. I’m helping Trump get reelected”

I wish Jon Stewart would accept endorsement. Bernie isn’t the only candidate though. Trump didn’t start out cause he was well liked. He got popularity cause he was polarizing. He gets infinite free media coverage. The Democrats could pick AOC and the right would have a meltdown. She’d get consistent media coverage. She is good looking and would do good for pressers.

They really are grasping at straws to keep Biden as the nominee. It is pathetic. Trump showed us he is old but still just a narcissist. Biden showed us that his team is a bunch of elder abusers.

I disagree 100%. Having Biden step down and put his support behind a solid candidate many can agree on (not just corporate Dems) while saying he has given it thought and realizes it is best for Democrats & America means not only does he get to do so gracefully, but people can emphasize with honesty and not having and old man spend his final days being abused by those around him.

Let’s assume what you’re saying is true. Why has Biden’s administration ignored his own voters on the genocide taking place in Palestine? Why has his administration vetoed the UN council now 12 times since 2020 now relating to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? Why did Biden’s administration pressure Robert Kur to revise his report in his classified documents investigation saying that Biden’s poor memory wasn’t supported by facts? Why did his administration push through with him as a candidate and not work to find a different candidate before now?

Instead I got Photoshopped images of Biden in sunglasses and a bunch of fake PR making it seem like Biden was as nimble as ever. You know what happened? I ended up becoming part of the Biden cult. After seeing his debate, what his administration is planning to do in 2024 is elder abuse. Biden needs to step aside immediately. I can’t believe people discussing anything else right now. You say democracy is on the line but his administration has made one terrible mistake after another. I’m sick of it. They want democracy then he can step down and put his support behind someone else. Otherwise I’m done with it. If his administration doesn’t act like democracy is on the line, then why should I?

Republicans are horrible people. They gaslight, obstruct & project. Democracy is on the line here, so Democrats do the logical thing. They go to a nursing home and find someone that is talking about beating medicare to help lead them to victory.

If the progressives truly thought that then the US would have a much different stance in regards to Israel.
