Calling the Steele dossier “fraudulent and discredited” is not really accurate. It never purported to be anything beyond mostly unverified oppo research, and I don’t think it was ever actually completed before it got leaked. It also did in fact contain things that turned out to be correct or largely correct, although obviously the most famous alleged event was never proven, and it also contained things that turned out to not be correct. Being a compilation of mostly unverified oppo research when it was leaked it obviously was going to contain both true and untrue claims, that it did does not discredit it or mean it was fraudulent.

I appreciate that it has a deeply humane perspective where justice matters, and that effort has been put into historical accuracy. If you work at a company with a competent HR department they will be very interested in hearing about how your supervisor is forcing you to eat lunch with her while she interrogates you about your sex life. That is 100% not appropriate in HR world. Just don’t ever believe anyone in HR is actually your friend, stick to the truth always, and document everything. Literally, keep a log of everything. If you end up in lawyer world they will be very happy that you have documentation of dates and who was there and what happened.

This is exactly it. Shutdowns are not popular, if they shutdown the gov before the election it is going to cost them significant votes. They are already worried about the impact of Trump on down ballot candidates, a shutdown will almost certainly cost them seats. This is MTG expressing her panic because she realizes how stupid the GOP is behaving with an election about to happen.

I remember Trumps White House doctor also got caught handing out drugs like candy. I’m sure Trump took advantage, certainly lots of his staff did.

There’s been rumors about him taking prescription stimulants since at least the 1980’s, and various allegations of him snorting Adderal on the set of his TV show. I would be surprised if he took street meth but maybe he has a desoxyn prescription.

If this is their plan it’s a really bad plan. Laura Loomer is not getting them votes, the more she is the face of their campaign the worse it gets for them.
