I’ve beaten the game about 6 times now and while I’ve certainly encountered minor glitches that made me laugh, I’ve never had issues that were game breaking at all. And the fire giant included.

I always hear stuff like this but in hundreds of hours of play on both PlayStation 5 and PC. I’ve never experienced any serious bugs. It’s so interesting to me that experiences can vary so much between people.

The only part of this that is Carlsons fault is that he took the interview and went to Russia. There’s no other way this would have played out when a reporter does an interview of Putin. Carlson was likely in that room with nothing but Russian agents who let him know exactly what was going to happen before the interview.

Anything else could have easily resulted in Carlson never coming home.

I’ve had my dad agree that something the Republicans are doing is extremely authoritarian and state that he is going to look past it because he wants lower taxes and likes guns in the same breath.

Beehaw is hardly and echo chamber. Generally defederation is done because of significant trolling or other negative behavior from an instance, not a disagreement with a philosophy.

I think an excellent example of how Beehaw allows opposing opinions is that you and I, who clearly disagree, are still able to talk about it.

The thing we want at Beehaw is respectful discourse. So long as neither party is insulting the other and conversation is productive it doesn’t matter if the opinions differ.

That said, I myself would probably not follow Beehaw off of ActivityPub. I prefer the content on Beehaw to most of the content in the fediverse, but I don’t want to maintain multiple accounts and Beehaw would definitely have less content if it moved off of the fediverse.

This is a great outlook. It’s important to not lose sight of the problems that do exist and try to work towards solving them, yes. But don’t lose sight of the positives, either.

My answer to the question asked would likely be, I’ve been depressed my whole life, what’s another problem. Lol

But we do have to recognize that in spite of all of the bad we can list, there’s a lot of good as well.

As a colorblind person, I’m constantly baffled that I have to explain that an external device isn’t going to modify how my eyes work. My eyes can’t see the colors. Glasses aren’t going to change that. The best I can hope for is that the glasses help me distinguish two colors I struggle with by forcing them to appear further away on the spectrum but never more than that.

I didn’t think there’s anything wrong with using a domino. Not every channel explains that you can use a dowel jig.

A real problem in DIY video is treating materials cost as the only cost to taking on a project. I’ve definitely seen at a bunch of them demonstrate doing a project in a way that requires a certain tool without explaining alternatives. I’ve seen many videos that get a job done for under 50 dollars because they have a full shop on hand.

Nobody hates the domino. They hate that it’s used in YouTube projects trying to display doing something on the cheap.

If the projects used a dowel jig instead, nobody would complain. But the domino is a very expensive tool and blows the goal of a 35 dollar project.

I think an important factor is how the host treats the misinformation. If they push back on it, you know they aren’t inviting those people due to agreement.

Real time with Bill Maher has people of all sorts of perspectives on but he usually actively debates against positions he disagrees with.

There’s lots of valid criticism of the guy but he at least tries to his ability to present a fair argument.

If you don’t feel like misinformation is being called out on that site then it may be questionable. Don’t shy away from a content creator just for having questionable guests. Turn them off because you don’t like how they handle those guests.

The only red flags in a real relationship are how you treat the other person and yourself. Don’t put dating on a pedestal. It’s just 2 people hanging out and getting to know one another.

It’s not the same for everybody. Some people find lots of success with apps. Others meet people at social events. Some meet at work. Just be yourself around people and pay attention to who you jive with on a personal level.

Weight shouldn’t be a problem. The reality is that everybody has things they are attracted to and for some people weight can be a factor. Only loose weight for your own happiness, though. Don’t do it to attract a partner because that’s not a good way to maintain a lifestyle change and your own happiness is paramount with changes like that.

And a billionaire inadvertently continues to do everything in his power to show why they would be a bad idea.
