He knows what he’s doing.
He knows what he’s doing.
He would cheer them on and say it was a blow against the “trans agenda” or something, i’m sure.
It’s super illegal.
He’s probably doing it to drive up interest and get people to register, then at the end he’ll be like “sowwy guys, my lawyer says I can’t :( Vote Trump to end this horrible tyranny!”
Which would probably go poorly for us, see: Bush v Gore. A bunch of the lawyers from that case are now on the Supreme Court.
Nuclear war has been mentioned a couple times but i feel it deserves elaboration: We’ve been real fucking close a couple times. There was a Soviet “nuclear counterattack station”, or whatever, that got the “nuclear strike detected, fire retaliatory missiles” signal and the person responsible simply refused. The signal was due to a glitch, there was no attack. That guy probably saved millions and millions of lives by refusing to carry out his duty.
If you consider (potential) timelines being “close” to ours in terms of only a small number of things needing to change to get us there, the one where everything went to nuclear hell is very close to ours–but we’re not in that one.
Well there’s no way to fact check this so i guess it’ll have to stand.
I don’t want to argue against mental health services, i think mental health services could be helpful. However, i do want to point something out here: saying this is a mental health problem really doesn’t make sense. You know a group that has mental health problems? Women. You know who else? Black people. You know who barely do any mass shootings? Either of those groups. We’re not (just) talking mental health issues, we’re talking about people who view “shooting up a school” as an appropriate way to resolve their social grievances. You can help that with mental health services, you can take their power away by blocking easy access to guns, but that’s a pretty big component here as well.
They just don’t like Harris and they don’t have any reason why that they can talk about in public.
I’d say “he’s gonna lie” is the free space on the bingo but there’s a lot of competition…
One of the key features of authoritarian follower personalities is that they’re desperate to be normal. Like, they’re terrified of the idea that they’re not just like everyone else despite the fact that they are big weirdos. People who are afraid of being weird, or who get weirdly judgemental about weirdness, is a big red flag for me, personally.
Political Calvinball.
That’s an important observation. A big part of the “authoritarian follower” personality is a desire to be “normal”, to be like everyone else. If they think everyone just accepts Harris won they may not be happy about it but they’ll be more likely to accept it.
They’ll believe anything that’s convenient for them to believe.
You know they’re ready and waiting to do a repeat performance of Bush v Gore. It doesn’t even need to be close, just take long enough to finish the count (see: PA being notoriously slow and probably quite important this time) that the Court has time to invent a decision.
Oh Jesus Christ that would go so much worse for RFK than it would for Vance.
Even aside from being fascists they’re just fucking weird. Going around with cum jars with JD Vance’s name on it? What the hell?
They’ve always been like this, the Democrats (and media) have just been ignoring it because it would be “impolite” to point out. It’s so nice to hear that changing, even a little bit.
I don’t think Shapiro would lock PA. I think it’s pretty likely she could pick him and lose the state or not pick him and win.
That shouldn’t be too bad if you understand systemd though, right? Or is there something weird i’m missing? Do you have an example guide that illustrates the problem?
That really is a good piece of documentation.
Release! The! Tapes!
Come on, do it. It could have a real impact.
