“They censor us, but it doesn’t change the truth,” he said before telling a whopper of a lie about his mama in a new ad. "Joe Biden’s open border is killing Ohioans, with more illegal drugs and more Democrat voters pouring into this country.

“This issue is personal,” he added. “I nearly lost my mother to the poison coming across our border. No child should grow up an orphan. I’m J.D. Vance, and I approve this message because whatever they call us, we will put America first.”

The only problem here is that he lied. As a nurse, JD Vance’s mother stole prescribed medications from her patients, and that was not because of undocumented immigrants. Vance got the community note routine on Xitter.

Huh, maybe she shouldn’t have been working for a hospital which, according to you, dispensed to their patients opiates that were smuggled across the border.

If only there were a politician trying to build a medical system that supported patients and secured jobs for medical workers so that they wouldn’t feel the need to use illegal narcotics! And if only that politician were part of a party that tried to get help for people with drug addictions instead of labeling them a criminal, thus causing societal pressures that sent people spiraling into dark lonely corners that harm entire families.

Alas, such things sound far too productive and positive, so we should instead promote victim-blaming, vote for a wannabe-dictator, and perpetuate lies that deflect problems with local solutions onto “others” for state-funded oppression programs.
