This, distilled, is the sense of frustration felt by so many in the media. There’s something heartening, I think, that the tone is getting sharper among sources I’m running into. It means the media will bifurcate into Pravda and resistance journalism, with the lines coming into specific relief in time.

Hopefully, we won’t get all the way to media sources being shut down for telling the truth, but the nature of the internet is such that if we need the foreign media to cover us like a failed third-world nation, they’re well-equipped to do so.
