Iowan here, and he’s not getting mine. Every other seat on the ticket I’ll hold my nose and vote dem, but for his I’ll either vote 3rd party or write-in for trans rights.
His opponent is also trash, but if he’s willing to do this shit to win an election his policy votes will absolutely be hot garbage.

This is not the time for Democratic candidates like Turek to be putting on their Jigsaw masks and asking voters if they want to play a game.
As a trans person, I would much rather have a Dem that takes away my rights than a republican. At least the Dem can probably be reasoned with a little bit, the republican cannot. The republican will make it their priority to take away my rights, in fact.

I’m like 70% certain he’s a spoiler ballot candidate. Someone propped up by Republicans to run against their hot garbage candidate. Unappealing to any but the most centrist of liberals, I’m kinda surprised he survived the primaries
