Even though I hate Greg Abbott and everything he stands for, the dude very obviously hates Donald Trump and MAGA, and genuinely relishes the rule of law (even though he manipulates it to benefit his donors). I think Abbott conceded so early to send a message to other Replicans who may be considering “election fraud” shenanigans. I think he hates that shit.

I was unbelievably relieved, but also totally surprised, because he conceded well before the race was even called
