Frozen veggies over fresh. I’m so fucking sick pf buying veggies then having a ticking clock on them. Frozen gives me all the nutrients and I can leave them in the freezer for months and not lose anything.
“Fresher” probably isn’t the right term, but freezing (and canning) usually has some advantages since the flash freezer is closer to the farm than your house.
They can be picked closer to ripe. Riper foods often contain more nutrients and taste sweeter.
Also, frozen veg can be made of varieties that are not as tough (required for transportation), so they can be selected for other traits such as flavor.
But you can also get those advantages by having a garden.

Aren’t frozen veggies usually fresher as well. Like they are frozen within a couple hours of being harvested?
