I’m interpreting the way you’re saying it as being a sarcastic joke but him being the POTUS made him the de facto leader of the Democratic party, who in turn failed to influence the majority of Americans to vote for them. It’s been coming out recently that the party’s own investigation into their 2024 loss revealed that the policy around Gaza played a significant role in their defeat, policy that self-proclaimed zionist President Biden had the power to influence and ultimately supported.

So yeah… It kinda is his fault.

He knows he’d get unrelentingly booed for the world to see. He couldn’t even handle a single autoworker jeering at him the other day.

A huge chunk of Americans either don’t pay close attention or get their news through heavily propagandized sources.

I feel like the matter isn’t as much about whether Democrats have the power to fight back and more about whether they have the balls to.

It’s like if Gandalf shrugged and said, “Huh, I guess not” and fucked off back to the Undying Lands leaving Middle Earth to fall to darkness.

She’s not wrong… But she’s also actively enabling him so she’s complicit in all this.

Trump doesn’t seem to understand that the existing presidential monuments were built posthumously and by popular opinion in order to honor exceptional leaders. His desperate attempts to plaster his name on random bullshit is pathetic. I hope once he finally kicks the bucket that we quickly rename these monuments to honor his victims. I wish he could be alive to see it.

I hear this take all the time and frankly I think it’s lazy and rooted in the same misogyny that you claim lost both Hilary and Kamala the presidency. 48% of American voters turned out for both Clinton and Harris compared to the 51% turnout for Biden.

Of the three, Biden was the only one who ran during a Republican administration and he had the additional advantage of running against Trump’s catastrophic handling of the 2020 COVID pandemic and despite all that he only took an extra 3% of the vote over Clinton and Harris.

On the flip side, both Clinton and Harris ran on maintaining the deeply unpopular status quo under their own party’s administration and attempting to appeal to the center-right whilst alienating their own base and taking their vote for granted. Despite that, 48% of American voters still turned out for them and they lost to Trump’s 46% in 2016 and <50% in 2024, a less than 2% margin in both cases.

To reduce that nuance to, “they lost because they’re women” completely ignores the fact that they ran flawed campaigns in a time of deep dissatisfaction with the status quo that they ran in support of all so you can pin their failure on their gender and perpetuate the idea that women can’t be elected to be president, something that at least 75 million American voters disagree with.

There’s a clip from months ago of Trump seeming to claim that pouring water over magnets would “break” them like you’d expect it to break electronic devices… Frankly, I’m surprised that it wasn’t talked about more.

Let’s all start demanding Chuck Schumer’s resignation as loudly as we demand the release of the Epstein files.

MAGA: We’ve got historical disapproval numbers, people are fleeing our party, we just faced a Blue tsunami the likes of which haven’t been seen in a generation, and we’re in the midst of a crisis with no end in sight for which the majority of Americans blame us for.

We’re going to have to demand they do. When the time comes, we cannot let it go. We must insist these people face justice. Be as annoying about it as we are about the Epstein files.

On one hand, yes, many Americans’ morals are backwards and ideally humans being killed, brutalized and disappeared by this administration and it’s agents would get more attention than an old building.

But on the other hand, that’s unfortunately not where we’re at. But where we are at is many people who would otherwise support or at least feel apathetic to what this administration is doing are appalled by the destruction of a national icon and I’ll welcome any step towards eroding the support this administration has from a significant group of Americans.

He never apologizes though. He just demands you accept he has a right to do whether the hell he wants.

Cars and Wall Street and the American people for that matter can all go fuck themselves. Can’t we just have free and accessible public transit and walkable cities for fuck sake?
